Is the game fun? Hell yes, been playing since beta and it's still the king of it's genre(1v4?).

Does the game have issues? Hell yes, glaring balance issues with more being piled on, as the balance team seems to think of new ways to prove they don't actually play their game.

Is the community nice? Noooo. I'd estimate more than half the people who play this game are going to be toxic as all hell no matter which side you play on. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. Developers don't really care about verbal abuse as long as the offenders don't abuse gameplay mechanics but in their defense you can simply close the chat bar. Scummy/mean tactics can also be circumvented as you get better in the game. On a positive note it makes it all the more sweeter meeting genuinely good people and with cross play those console gamers can't even use chat to insult you.

Has the game improved? Most definitely, as much as I don't respect the balance team they atleast fix issues in a 1 step forward 2 steps back mentality. And throughout the game history a lot of the most glaring issues with the core gameplay were slowly patched out. The game is in the best it ever was in my opinion. Oh and the visual team has been POPPING OFF. The game looks SO GOOD compared to it's humble beginnings. Cosmetics are also cool and interesting additions to unlock after you've gotten the perks you wanted on your favorite characters.

On the note of unlocking stuff, this game is GRINDY AS ALL HELL which I actually like. You will never run out of things to unlock and use your points for in the game. Very satisfying to build up your character with your favorite perks/loadouts and get cool cosmetics to go with them. Losing in style never felt so good.

I've talked a lot of ♥♥♥♥ about the game but that's because I really love the game. Might even be my favorite. There's a lot of nuance to it and it never feels old to play especially with new DLC always coming out. Oh and if you have friends to play it with? Tons of fun!
