I am still having fun despite the bugs i've had (nothing game breaking so far).
The performance is definitely needing improvement, however on a ryzen 7 5800x and a 1660ti, I dont go below 40fps on medium, with clouds on low at 1440p.
also dont join the discord because 75% of the people talking are people who haven't bought the game and are only ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on what info they gain from other people

I would recommend the game if:

1. you want to purchase the game to play test it and see it improve
2. you dont want to pay more for the game when it fully releases (50$ > 70$)
3. you like ksp

I wouldn't recommend it in its current state if:
1. you dont want to spend 50$ to play test a game (fair enough)
2. are less experienced in playing KSP (harder to learn with some bugs and less performance)

after all the devs got fired i regret my optimism for this game

shallow gameplay and story, could be much more exiciting
very repetitive and ending is unrewarding, side objectives are chores
also no digital trips or special features like the spider tank, and no way to replay that mission without restarting your save, and no way to replay the few fun missions
