Ignore the complaining about it being woke (there's literally one storyline and a side one at that, that you can easily skip if you're that butthurt about representation).

Is this a perfect game, hell no. It's a slow starter and I feel for the voice actors as the voice director really screwed them. You can tell they were given limited/conflicting direction (they clearly have no idea what they are reacting to). Though, it has it's flaws, it's a fun enough romp if you like your Mass Effects. I have somehow managed to plow over 100 hours in it and I am glad I pushed through the first 10 or so hours. The voice acting really seems to either A) Become less noticeable or B) you get used to it as I don't really notice it so much anymore.

Emmrich has an interesting storyline. It's just a shame that this launched during peak anti-representation as even 10 years ago this would have got middling reviews.
