It has taken me 3 years to fully dive into this game and I deeply regret not playing it sooner. This is the most polished games I have played to date. The number of different things you can do is insane. I thought I would hate things such as hunting, collecting herbs and horse management but they are each done in a way that doesn't make it a chore. I love the horse customization and horse taming. The most enjoyable instance of this is when I found my current horse in the mountains. After a long, long time of attempting to calm it, I finally tamed it and it is still the strongest horse I own.

The story is interesting and it holds my attention which is something that many video games fail to do. The side missions / stories also greatly support the game by making it more immersive and making the world feel more alive. The level of detail is crazy. I spent 4 hours just exploring every inch of the map that I could and in doing so I found so many areas that are outside of story paths. Overall, I just enjoy every single part of this game and at 30 hours (at time of review) I am still not even half way done. Completely worth the time and money.

Resident Evil Village is an immersive and addicting game that will make you want to keep going back to it. The changes and improvements in this game are definitely an upgrade from 7. However, the story is very lacking and the decisions made by Ethan are pretty embarrassing, enough to make it funny. Despite the mediocre story, I highly enjoyed this game. The multiple areas, bosses and various other mechanics saved it and made this one of my favorite games to come out this year.

Definitely better with friends

DOOM Eternal is the perfect sequel to DOOM (2016). Everything from the previous game is expanded upon and made better. The weapon mods, the upgrades, everything. There are so many new and interesting enemies and environments to fight in. I love the inclusion of more platforming, the climbing walls are a great addition along with the bars to swing on. One small problem I had with this game is that it's significantly harder than DOOM (2016). This made it somewhat a chore to play early on, but, it got easier with time. The only thing that persisted throughout the entire game that I didn't like, was the Marauders. Literally, the most annoying enemy to fight in the game. Other than that, I highly enjoyed this game and loved how the story was expanded upon.
