I was having a great time fighting for Super earth and Managed democracy. when a fellow hell diver informed me of sony's antics. i of course shot him due to such unpatriotic thoughts. I was however shocked to find out that this was true. so ♥♥♥♥ YOU SONY.

It does appear that this has been reversed so this review can go positive again!

Played, liked what game-play i was able to experience. but the only 1 char thing is a BIG no for me, i died and got setback like an hour of play and i was ahh ok ill try start over and apprach the game a different way and like WTF who thaught of the idea you can have only 1 char. and i mean sure 1 then delete it and re make if you want but not even able to do that WTF nooooooo. if this gets fixed may buy game later but as of now, im not paying for this

i love halo, i do not like this. its clunky, the weapons feel like toys when you shoot them. i hate the weapon effects and all around design. the game modes are ok i guess, but they last what 15 mins max? hell the original halo had a better multiplayer.

So i played the first one and i had critisims of that but i baught this in good faith to see if any of the issues had been adressed.
Spoiler: they have not

this is practicaly the same game not much has changed. they controles have become utter garbage. it has LESS choice than the origonal and all the weapons are the same or dumbed down as in the first one. not to mention the maps.

so yeah its bad -_-

Fantastic game
+ the art is nice and is done in a style that ages well
+ combat feels more fluid than outher turn baised games such as x-com
+ deep story
+ great charictors all voiced with backstorys
+ a long main story with countless optional scenarios and side missions
+ good controls (i'm playing with xbox controler)
+ challenging tactical gameplay
+ chose your squad for each mission and swap out members depending on there stregnths and waeknesses
(some members are raceist towards darciens for example and get a penalty for bieng neer them)
(or some members like bieng neer friends and gain a bonus)
these and may more stats make putting together your squad an interesting task rather than throwing random people together.

- some of the explanations for combat took a bit to long to pop up (eg: i shot the generator o the tank for several turns before the explanation poped up to explain what it was)

I like the game, i love the premmise. Though early access and it was frustrateing when i first started because things are not
Explained in game. However fun can definetly be had with this game. The weapons you can buy are not OP and you can get weapons more powerful in game with normal currency.
If your looking for a relatively polished product then move on this game is clearly in alpha with some bugs and problems with telling you information you need to know.

I am haveing fun with the game and the developers are active on the steam forum to adresse any issues. In my opinion the game is well worth what i paid for it.
