With this, I finish off the saga (for now).

Overall, and as a TL;DR, I enjoyed the game. It was fun, rather complex and ultimately delivered what I was expecting. Was it the best AC to date? Nah, but let me get into details.

Gameplay: Until we get the next AC, this is the best we've got. It feels as fluid as ever.
Combat is great for those not looking for a real challenge but at the same time wanna have fun with it. What I mean by this is that if you're coming from Dark Souls, you're not gonna like it. It's simple, rewarding and the executions are great.
Climbing was greatly improved/made easier with the new grapple hook. You may not like it if you're a diehard fan of the franchise but you'll also use it all the time. It's extremely useful and advantageous even though it takes away some of the fun that was figuring out how to climb something. A not so needed but still welcome addition.

Graphics: I must say that coming from Unity, this game was not as pretty. I don't know what they've changed but it just doesn't feel that good. However, London is still London and if you're an admirer of that city you're definitely gonna like it. It delivers, every major landmark is there and the atmosphere of industrial London was nailed by the producers. Nothing much to say about it, I loved playing this game in my favourite city.

Performance: I ran this game with an i5 7400 and a GTX 1060 6GB. Performance is AWFUL. If you have similar or lower specs than mine, be ready to either play at potatoe quality in order to attempt to reach 60fps or just do like me and give up on that smooth gameplay and just max out everything and settle for peasant-like 30 FPS. I play AC for the story and the graphics, so I had no other choice. Crashes? Yeah, maybe twice. Nothing too bad. Game breaking bugs? None, surprisingly. Coming from previous AC, this was a soothing surprise.

Story: Aah, finally, what you've been waiting for.
The story starts a bit slow, I had a hard time getting into it. As the game progresses, it gets a bit better but then reaches a plateau. An acceptable and respectable plateau, mind you, but I was left with a sort of bitter taste since I was expecting a bit more from it. I liked Unity, I think it's an underrated game... but this one, I don't know. I feel like it was rushed, at least the ending, and that they wanted to make it longer than previous AC and just included a bunch of unnecessary and tedious missions. However, the Assassination missions... oh boy I liked those. If you read my Unity's review you'd know that I liked them. Here, they are the same but maybe improved. I think there was only one tail mission in the entire game (yay) and no eavesdropping or anything like it. Almost none "you were spotted, mission failed" as well, another welcome change.
So, did I like the story? Yeah, I liked it. Would I go running into the street telling people to play this game? Definitely not. Was it a bad AC? Uhmmm I wouldn't say so... it just falls short of ground breaking content. Oh, and the present day story is almost non existant and weird, if you were wondering that.

Conclusion: If you've played previous AC and have a decent computer to run this game, go ahead and buy it. You won't be disappointed. If you're new to the saga, I'd recommend buying the Ezio saga, those were the good old days.

I took my chances and bought this game knowing its never ending story of bugs and plain gameplay.

First of all, I'd like to say that I'm in fact a fan of the series. I've played every single Assassin's Creed except for Syndicate. I like the games, so this might influence my point of view regarding this review.

Performance: I don't have an awesome computer. I played Black Flag upon release and the game did not run smoothly at all. Suprisingly enough, Ubisoft has made some big improvements to this game in particular. I had a solid framerate on high settings, practically no game breaking bugs that could hinder my experience and hardly no crashes, only a few upon launching the game and only once did I have to restart the game because I had gotten stuck. However, thanks to the checkpoints, I didn't lose anything. Great job Ubisoft, you managed to partially fix a game which everyone said was unplayable.

Game mechanics: If you are coming from any previous AC, you'll gave no surprises when it comes to climbing mechanics. Furthermore, combat has been greatly improved. We finally have difficult combat in which you can and certainly will die if you don't play your cards well. Avoiding being detected is almost never a requirement anymore, but you'll try to meet that requirement anyway, since facing 5-7 guards it's quite the task. Still, the game was not thaaat hard, but I like how they've improved combat.

Missions: Not that many tail missions (Yay!) and a lot of assassination ones, which I LOVED. You can have practically any approach to them; you can be offensive and get into big fights, taking guards one by one without being detected or maybe just climb your way to a secret entrance and kill only your main target. I found this missions really enjoyable, and there are quite lot of them. Great job Ubisoft!

Story: Big part of this game. I liked it. I wanted to keep on playing every time I finished a mission and that tells a lot, specially after games such as AC3. France atmosphere, the revolution, Assassins and Templars, romance. Well, it's got a nice set of resources to tell a good story. I think it delivers. Is it too linear? Maybe, but I still enjoyed it. I only focused on the main missions and took me 16 hours, which is a decent amount of time. I still have plenty of other content to go through. If I had to compare this to others Assassin's Creeds, I'd say it's at the level of AC4 or Revelations.

Map and lore: Paris is beautiful. It's been done perfectly with the people and their clothing, the famous buildings, the events on history, riots, revolutionaries against loyals to the crown, rich and poor areas, etc. If you want immersion, I'd definitely recommend you read the biographies and pieces of information that they give you of every place, it'll be worth your time.

Conclusion: I bought it for 10 USD and it's a nice deal. Full price, nah, but what game is worth its full price nowadays? If you are thinking on buying it but you are afraid of performance issues, don't worry. Pay attention to the next sale and buy it.

Mindblowing. Truly amazing how such a simple, short and dull-looking game can make such an impression. Must play.

Without doubt, a must own game. No matter what your preferred playstyle is, you'll always enjoy this game. The possibilities are endless and the amount of hours you can put into it is just crazy considering it's price. You won't regret buying it!

I just cannot put into words how much I appreciate this game.

I played it once it came out in 2013 in a different platform and I've now re-lived the experience on PC with the DLCs. After 2 or 3 playthroughs I can still find slight details which I missed on the previous run.

Graphic wise, the game has its unique art. No, it is not photo realistic but I still love how it looks. Columbia immerses you into the early 20st century atmosphere like no other game, and the abrupt change to Rapture and its 1950s look really takes you by surprise. The amount of work put into every single part of the map by the artists is truly worth mentioning. Bioshock Infinite is a game in which you need to explore, see and experience, because there is much more to do and learn than just the main story.

The storyline is spectacular. I've played many games which had an amazing storyline that really gripped me, but none other left me with such a fulfillment as this game. It has complexity, mystery, great characters, great setting and great pace. I don't want to spoil anything so I won't give many details, but boy... what a mind blowing experience.

And now we come to gameplay. I've read other reviews and I must say that I agree, the aspect that Bioshock Infinite lacks the most is the actual gameplay mechanics. Don't get me wrong, it is not like the game is unplayable or boring. I tend to play my games on normal difficulty because I don't really like challenges (and, let's face it, I suck). However, I found myself increasing the difficulty on the DLCs because I hardly died during the main storyline. There are too many action fights and gun shooting which just seem a bit repetitive and unnecesary. They are not so bad, though, but you won't need much help defeating them all. I actually forgot about the vigors (or plasmids) most of the times because I didn't really need them. That tells how something which was pretty cool (vigors) was kind of wasted because of how easy the game was. Anyway, I know I've developed more on what I consider negative about the game and not so much about the good things, but take it more as a rant because it hurts to see a great game wasting good mechanics.

All in all, the game is GREAT. The DLCs are really really worth it, I regret not having played them sooner. If you like shooters, not-so-long-to-finish games, great storylines and outstanding artwork... this is your game! Now, if you want to customize your character, great gun shooting and lots of playtime hours... you might want to consider this buy, maybe watch a couple of walkthroughs before reaching a decision.

I hope I helped you!

CS:GO Review
Excelente juego. Pese a los altibajos que puede tener, no deja de ser tremendamente adictivo y un juego con mucho para aprender.
