I have purchased 5 copies of this game. Three for myself (2 steam, one Meta/Oculus) and two for friends on steam. I'll likely get another copy for PSVR for myself as well so I can have a whole team of people playing at my house alone. If that doesn't show approval of a game, I don't know what else would. Like many, I was strung along for literal years waiting for this, and it was worth the wait.

This game allows for some intense gameplay. Nothing like the helpless feeling of a giant zombie boss lifting you up by your neck about the kill you with his other fist and you are scrambling to reload and shoot him in the face.

I hope they do more as the story aspect is a little weak at this point. The game is more of a vibe and a setting than a story....
Don't get me wrong... the setup is great, but that is pretty much what you get.

The Setup and good gameplay (hopefully with a group of friends) are incredible strengths of this game and while I'm hoping that they do flesh things out I am finding myself coming back as much as possible As the game stands already.

Still I'd like them to Insert more story, including more elements of discovery and perhaps even give you insight how things ended up this way and setting up some sort of nefarious opposition responsible for the menace. As it stands zombies seem a sort of life threatening infestation and you are the clean up crew, but you don't seem the affect any real improvement on things.

As it is, like Arizona Sunshine the sense of hopelessness that you get about enacting any real change at one point might eventually draw you away from the game, so hopefully they do add more accomplishments and plot. Right now the draw is to get better and more powerful weapons, which is only going to be so compelling. I'm hoping they may take a seasonal approach and do some of those things along the way, although if they stick to their methodology in Arizona Sunshine, they likely wont add much more at this point. I hope I'm wrong.

Things I'd like to see improved in the game:

X body deformations of players are quite comical and take you out of the experience.
X some things are just too "sticky" and it's hard to not accidentally grab them or have them get in the way and it can be distracting.
x When you reload the shotgun, it puts a phantom shell in that you have to eject before shooting. If this were real life you'd have just wasted one shot.
x I'd like them to find a smart way to allow verbal communication in the line again.. It's my understanding that it was initially there but removed. It's annoying that it's Mime land. They should have it set up for proximity and allow others voices to be muted and/or simple made invisible in your vr space. I'd also like to see them expand the subway with more nooks and crannies to go along with that. I'd also like to have them double the size of the range area and move things so that the weapon mod area wasn't right in the middle of your shooting path. The multitool and mount get in the way of shooting and reloading practice as is and are an annoyance. The zapper from the arcade to the right is also sticky and gets in the way too here.
X The centralized game servers are currently working dismally. Its the peak of frustration to be repeatedly booted from runs. Worse to reach an advanced point with friends and then be booted and or have one if them get booted and get stuck with AI BOTS replacing your good friends because of server instability. Unfortunately as of late this seems to happen during every session for myself and my friends.
X I’d like to see them setup the game to allow a local server at some point because as it stands the game is entirely dependent on the studios servers to run. I would really like a way to play offline or with friends independently of the studios (currently shoddy) servers.

This has become one of my current favorite games to play and I'm looking forward to more from this studio.

Okay if you are aware that these are just Nintendo and Famicom roms. Don't expect a full elongated vertical screen Pac-Man or Dig Dug it'll be a square screened NES version. Adjust your expectations... These are 8-bit NES games...Mappy is nowhere near the quality of the arcade for example. There is a Pac-man championship game that appears to be some sort of sophisticated Romhack of the pac-man rom. Intersting collection, particularly the famicom games that never saw a US release on the NES.

What is not to love here? It's an Arcade accurate steam port of Pac-Man. It even allows you to play with your monitor in vertical position so you can use more of your monitor. I recently also found that if you look at the audio settings there is an echo setting. This may seem silly to some but by adding a bit of echo you can more accurately reproduce how the game sounded inside a cabinet where the sound bounced around inside.

The Ghosts perform the same way they do in the arcade unlike some other versions like the Nintendo Entertainment System one which many tabletop desktop and pocket versions of Pac-man actually are using a NES on a chip with the Pac-man ROM. The NES version was nice but too easy and not arcade accurate. This version is the real deal!

Without plunking down 100 bucks for PowerDVD this is your next best bet for playing 3d Blu-ray disc movies once you rip them to your hard drive. You have to learn how to rip them from your blu-ray discs into the proper form (or better yet have others that know more do it for you) but then this works pretty well. The player itself is pretty intuitive. The file browser is not so great and can tend to crash the program particularly on a very large drive or once you browse to a folder that has a lot of media files, but over all this is a handy application.

So far so good! Love the games! Pretty accurate to what I remember from the arcades using my stick. I"m glad I'm not using real quarters for the Castelvania port.. whew... The interface is a little clunky though. The sounds for the game exit prompt are many degrees of magnitude higher than game sounds and can hurt your ears if you have headphones on. AFAIK there is no way to adjust their volume.

A visual trek through one woman's humanity and all the relationships that entails. symbolism that is pretty straightforward. Game play that doesn't involve fists or guns. I enjoyed myself for an afternoon thoroughly.

I've really enjoyed this game. At it's core it's very arcade like. The movement is unique and nothing is as satisfying as using a bow and arrow in VR so it ends up being something very special. The graphics for the most part are really amazing. The music and atmosphere really work to make you think you are in some sort of deranged Catholic nightmare. It is truly something else.

The visuals are really something. The game is unnerving in a good way. It is creepy yet still classy in that there is no blood splashing everywhere like some games where you fight demons.

The one thing that frustrates me is basically starting all over every time I play while having the difficulty increase with my skill. It seems that those two factors together seem to keep me from advancing very far as it ramps up in difficulty, and sometimes It just makes you want to quit when you know it's back to square one but it turns out it will become even harder this time. Still, this game is pretty timeless, and I'll probably play it as long as it works.

Unfortunately it seems as though the rights have moved to a different company that is continuing development as In Death Unchained on the Oculus quest 2. Does that make this In Death Chained? It seems like the new company has the rights and the old pc version is no longer being improved which is a bummer.... Still the graphics on the original are superior to the quest version. The quickest comparison I would be to say the Quest version is like a Ps3 game and the PCVR version isl like a Ps4 game.

I've purchased this game for Oculus Rift, Steam, and PSVR. The game itself is pretty great. The environments, the masks... The board... all great. Pretty flawless. The biggest issue I've run into has to do with the fact that I bought three licenses expecting to be able to easily connect cross-platform to play with family members. This is not the case. Sure, If I had three Oculus rifts, or three psvrs or three, oculus quests connected to Oculus link (how I use it on steam) I would get a list of who is online in that platform, but unless they've done a new update that I haven't seen yet you can't yet see or choose to connect to specific people on other platforms.

The connection to other players cross-platform is timing based and random so you might get paired with your friends/family members or some hodgepodge of other folks.

There are some great discord etc communities that try to mitigate this issue by setting up matches, via timing which is helpful for some, but in my situation since the cross-platform pairing is random I don't want to keep trying to match with people and quit games where I'm accidentally paired with the wrong people, thus frustrating the people I match with... Further the discord groups will blacklist you if you pop in and out of games on people :(

What I'm hoping for is that the Devs institute either some sort of cross-platform lobby that allows you to to connect to specific users on other platforms as well in your games or to institute a cross-platform friends/ cross-friends so you can see the specific people/accounts on other platforms you want to game with. Until that happens (don't know if it will) I'll have bought 2 licenses for essentially no purpose :(

As it is I'll say yes buy it if you just want to play catan in VR but if you want it for my specific purposes it's kind of a bummer. If this situation is remedied I would anticipate buying a few more licenses in the future for friends in other states who use htc vive etc.

I've been playing The Forest exclusively in VR for a few weeks and today tried it in regular mode. This game is consuming! I've never played anything quite like it. It's like the television show The Lost meets Friday the Thirteenth with a little night of the living dead thrown in for good measure. I even purchased it for a friend to get him in on the action.

The only major drawback I'm seeing so for is that after playing it in regular mode for a few hoursthe lack of some of these features in VR kind of annoys me. When I run a multiplayer server in VR there is no way to ban a player that comes in and acts obnoxious by shouting out expletives for a half hour or for attacking me the host with a chainsaw (both things have happened). In non-VR all I had to do was hit the tab bar and kick and ban instantly. In VR I almost died from someone attacking me when I had placed my character to rest on a bench for a minute to check on my household (If this functionality exists and I just don't know it despite my google searches please comment).

Overall... amazing game... one of my favorite VR experiences ever... I think cannibals have replaced Zombies as my new favorite thing to take my frustrations out on...lol.
