honestly its everything i need to make my dream games. still learning, still feel like a beginner but i think the hardest part is behind me. i will make games with this, including my dream JRPG. i can actually wrap my head around the development without it completely shutting down like a dumbass like with unity or anything else. straight forward, here you go, here's the tool to make that special game.

the early 2010s random unity game vibes are immaculate. i'm just now finding this but i've played minecraft consistently since 2011, so finding a new game that is equal parts a building/survival game and an rpg, with a lot of obvious elder scrolls inspiration, is absolutely awesome. will definitely continue exploring this game and seeing what it has to offer.

fun bite sized adventure

it's very immature and crude but like it's also fun and has some heart (i think???) the calendar system is very archaic, and that isn't a bad thing at all. it was one of the first, after all. it's given a few mulligans. But the simple action of just doing 3 activities and then seeing all the events that happen throughout the day you've had is super fun and not complicated at all which is just charming.

just like be aware this is from the 90s so it's not as in line with modern sensibilities. i personally did not find that an issue for me, but i get if it's a dealbreaker for you. know what you're buying.

this is such an amazing game, such a simple loop but it constantly keeps you engaged. Don't even gotta click anything, just avoid the enemies and let the magic do it's work. it spawned an entire genre for a reason.

the opening of the game is really, really strong but it just kinda becomes monotonous by the end. a little frustrating how confusing objectives can be. still a classic and has controls that feel surprisingly modern, regardless of the jank involved. don't let the jank scare you off, embrace the jank, love the jank.
