Robotics;Notes is the third mainline game in the Science Adventure franchise (if you don't know it, check it out), which has become one of my favorite franchises.

MY EXPERIENCE

I'm not a fan of slice of life or robotics, actually I pretty much hated these genres.
The first few chapters I was reading with inertia because I wanted to read Chaos;Child asap, but I wasn't really that happy, in fact I was pretty pissed off. Too many things that I wasn't interested, why in the hell would it interest me to try in participating in a battle bots tournament? And why was everything so slow? I knew that in the Elite re-release the pacing was improved, so I was scared to think the original R;N script.
This was until the end of Phase 5, which got me like: “Wh- what? Now I recognize Science Adventure, that's what I wanted from the beginning”, looking back I was foolish. It's a franchise based on build-up, all other entries were slow but sooner or later “exploded”. This game takes a loooong way to “explode”, but without the other phases it wouldn't have been the same.
This Visual Novel go at its own pace, so if you're afraid of the slowness, play it only when you want to feel like it. Don't rush it, just live the moment, live the island of Tanegashima, feel like a member of the island's community.
What went under my head for pretty much 7 chapters (or phases) was a perfect cast of (not only) teenagers, each character has its own personality, flaws, and values.

CONCLUSION

I'm pretty new to VNs. So far I only have experienced Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate, but I can say with all honesty that each of these three games is perfect in a way different from the other:
In C;H it's the horror, heavy mood and the psychological oriented plot.
In S;G the emotional transport and the burden of choices and consequences.
Yet, in R;N I couldn't get what was good until after finishing it, which left me empty. The setting is unique, you can really live and know the island like you were actually there. The cast is excellent.

In the end, I can only give this game a 9/10. If this had been my first game in the SciAdv I would have probably given more.

Can't tell much about what others said about Jedi Survivor, but I can say that “from a certain point of view” (Ah, get it? The short stories From a Certain Point of View).

STORY

There's nothing much to say, a nearly perfect sequel to Fallen Order which includes things about the new canon and the High Republic Era (if you don't know about that check it out, you will not get disappointed). Yes, they could have been more creative about the incipit of the story, but it's not really a problem.
Obviously being the middle title in a trilogy it's a build up for the third chapter, and you can notice that especially towards the end.

GAMEPLAY

It's far more action oriented than the predecessor with more lightsaber stances and Force powers. It has more fast-paced combat while still maintaining the derivations from Sekiro and its identity. Better and iconic boss fights with totally differents and fun movesets. It also contains more metroidvania moments and has a small but ideal number of “small” planets and a HUGE main planet (I think it's big like all of Fallen Order)

CONCLUSION

While it's a really bad porting, they tried improving it (even if when I tried every patch it never changed anything so idk) it will be a real shame to miss this game, the best in the Disney Star Wars era (duh, looking at you Battlefront) and probably one of the best across the franchise (At least top 5, KOTOR and Dark Forces will always be better).
At least give it a try and if you don't feel it's right for you request a refund, you will not lose anything.
