Its fun, kinda like inscryption except more drug induced.

I bought this game to scratch the Soulslike itch I had, but did not expect too much. However, while playing through it, I fell in love with this game. It sometimes feels like playing a fairytale.

While it is the well-known story of Pinocchio, they also do their own thing with this story, which felt refreshing. While, of course, some twists and story arcs you could see coming from far away, it was still entertaining for me.

Gameplay feels great most of the time. Some things feel off, and I felt I had to relearn mechanics just for this boss because the timing was different than what I learned from previous animations. Also, this game throws a lot of game mechanics at you, which might be a bit much for some people. I loved combining them all in the later parts of the game, but in the beginning, I just ignored some of them because there were too many mechanics explained in a short period of time.

The music is beautiful—something you might want to listen to outside the game.

From a graphical standpoint, it looks great and has this fairytale vibe going on. The textures look nice, although I don't care much if a game is in HD or 4K or whatever. It's pretty to look at, and this is enough for me.

Character customization is limited. You can't change the PC since, well, it's Geppetto's puppet, but you can let him wear different outfits and masks.

The difficulty can be tough sometimes, but the game gives you a lot of stuff to help you out when you're stuck on a boss most of the time.

Exploration is limited. You always know where to go. There are some branching paths, but most of them are shortcuts or dead ends with items and stuff, so I never felt lost.

TL;DR: It's a great game. If you enjoy Soulslike games, give this one a try.

Alright, first of all, i love this game. First Game ive spent over 1k hours so yeah.

I enjoy the Gunplay, the world/maps, its a game i always come back to, even if it can sometimes be very frustating.

I Recommend this game if you enjoy extraction shooters. Especialy if you are an old guns enjoyer.

The new 1896 Update is great. Yeah, performance has problems, my game crashes from time to time but its "ok", they will patch it later and its not unplayable.
The new UI, well i dont like it tbh but it works and i hope they willk change it up a bit. It feels overloaded now, everything is in your face and i get a sensory overload.
But i dont care too much since i spent around ~5% of my playtime in lobby.

But the Graphics update, the new map, the new guns and new Wild Target are awesome. Expect for some performance and UI its a great Update.

Ok, first, the good:

The game is really fun. You can do your part on Starship Trooper-like planets and burn all those freedom-hating bugs to the ground. Alternatively, you can bomb the Terminators in Space Vietnam and even get some PTSD along the way. I highly recommend the game.

The Bad:

The anti-cheat system is a concern. GameGuard has kernel-level access, which is unnecessary for gaming, especially in a PvE/pure co-op game. I’ve decided to ignore it for now, but I sincerely hope they change it in the near future.

The Ugly:

Sony has mandated that, regardless of the platform, you need a PSN account to play. As PC players, this is frustrating, but it’s even worse for players who bought the game but can’t play it because PSN is banned in their country.
Fortunately, as of May 6, 2024, Sony has listened to its consumers and decided to stop this madness—for now. This victory against corporations serves as an important lesson.

tl;dr: The game is good and very fun. I enjoy it alot and has GOTY potential. Just the Drama around it smells kinda funy.

The only good bug, is a dead bug.

Yes it is fun, shooting hordes is alway fun.
