This is like that movie "Postal" but better.

While the gimmick of fighting a cut boss is the only excuse to play the tacked on multiplayer, the base game is still a fun splash from the past if you're looking for some nostalgia or a relaxing collect-a-thon.

That scene in John Carpenter's "The Thing" where Kurt Russel uses a bundle of dynamite as a threat against his paranoid colleagues, this game is like that except you follow through with that threat. Except instead of colleagues, you have hoards of cultists and instead of "Things" you have demons and the un-dead.

It's always cheap, it's always on sale.

Play it while you wait for the main game to load.
