If you liked the 1st Tomb raider you will love this one. They added more game modes and other stuff.
If you didn't play the previous game I think you can play it without issues.. the first episodes of the game they teach you how to play and it's kind of different plots so I think is worthy to play even if you don't want to play the 1st.

One of the best ARPG I played so far! if you liked diablo 2 give it a try.
I think the graphics are not great.. but everything else is amazing! I really enjoyed the several classes, the "Devotion" the components for the item... it makes your character really unique

The atmosphere is like diablo 2 (I think diablo 3 should be this game) 10/10!

Really good game, one of the best reboot in the game industry without question!
The SP is quite good, there is plenty things to do...
There is also a MP but sucks...

About DLCs... I would recommend only the Tombs.. the others very up to you but they are more for support the dev team I guess...

Best game I ever played, +200h so far… 
You have the SP that is an action RPG, there is plenty things to do here and I highly recommend finish this first.
Then you have the DLCs that you can complete in a few hours…
And last there is a multiplayer that is comrades, is very funny and I like it more than SP… but nowadays is empty and the levelling seems a bit annoying…

The new DLC is as good as the rest of the game and adds a few more hours to enjoy a new gameplay, I highly recommend it because explains things about the story of the game

One of the best game I've been played (PS3, X360 & PC). I like the style, the gameplay, the plot... I highly recommended it.

The only bad thing is .. is not very re-playable.. after finish it 2 or 3 times there is nothing that make you keep playing it.. So I don't feel that is worthy to pay a lot for it but on sale don't think it twice! go for it
