First off ♥♥♥♥ Konami! must be said.
Secondly the remake is just ok... best thing I can say is that they did not ruing the classic games they remade.
Thirdly if you do not already love suikoden series do not buy this game anywhere close to the release price I did so only for the hope that Konami might give the suikoden series a second chance...

I tried to care but failed, in the end the game is just boring...
the story is a great concept that it fails .
the characters are plentiful and varied and I like almost none of them.
the auto combat thingy is great in theory for the grind but I just ended up using it all the time and something just interrupting it to heal and stabilize the party so I am not playing the game most of the time....
oh the mini games oh how I hate them all none of them are good or interesting.
