They really did a great job nailing the visuals. The attention to detail is absolutely insane, you could tell this was a passion project by Saber Interactive. The game play is fantastic and story isn't boring in the slightest.

A more simplified Dwarf Fortress-esque game with a metric boatload of mods. Very fun and very comfy to sit and sink a couple hours into.

Computer viruses be hitting different these days. Now they call you a beta cuck but at least this one has a touching story to tell.

It's Age of Empires, what's not to love?

Star Control is really, really great. The first "friend" you can make is a race of social outcasts and NEETS who write fanfiction about humanity. Humor is very tongue and cheek with each race having a sort of running gag that they take and work with. Great game with plenty of more content thanks to robust modding tools.

It's Supreme Commander, What isn't there to not recommend about this game. It's easy to play and takes a bit of skill to master. The battles are unlike anything you'd see in an RTS, the factions are different despite units filling similair roles.
