Hi, saw your review and at this point, you probably know this, but in your Steamapps folder (in SteamLibrary), there is a file called appmanifest_489830. Make it read-only. This is on top of telling Steam to never update Skyrim in the launcher. And assuming you are using more than 5 mods (and don't use the creation club), you most likely are running the game through SKSE. And if you never start the game through Steam directly (after those steps), your mod list should be protected.

yeah, i didnt have issues with GTA IV loading up or playing it (except some random frame dips here and there) My issue was with the garbage ass launcher, its unnecessary and obnoxious, Steam is already a form of DRM. We dont need these companies forcing us to create accounts to enjoy things we bought. Especially when most launchers are just bottom tier garbage.
