Update: Now having a blast

Update at 50 Hour Mark: Yeah this game is pretty good. A few tweaks but I only see this game getting better in the long run once they start releasing new content.

Update at 66 Hour Mark: PSN update... yeah no

Update May 6th, 2024: Playstation caved, helldivers won.

As a college student I dont have much time to play video games and when I do I try to enjoy every moment of it. I wish I didnt buy this game yet becuase I cant even enjoy it without "matchmaking error" coming up, or 1000+ ping matches, for the love of god I cant even play a solo match. The content itself is good and fun to play, well worth $40, but if I cant play any of the content then whats the point. This company does not deserve any more revenue from this game until the issues are fixed with the servers.

What I like:
The entire game idea is awesome and I actually really enjoyed running around and fighting.

What I didnt like:
Its hard to enjoy the game as a new player. You get put in matches with level 30+ and 40+ who have the best gear and you honestly just get destroyed every game. Im not sure why the game has a chat box as no one ever uses it. I remeber typing in the box and no one ever replied and to add to that no one even said anything. The game is free so im happy that I didnt loose any part on my end expect the time wasted trying to level up my troops and hero to get better things. I guess if you enjoy that progression than go for it.

Game right now will keep you occupied for about up to 50 hours depending on how good you are as of right now than at that point there really isnt anything new as of 11/11/2020 in terms of new content like machines, researchable stuff, etc. However, so far this game is pretty fun and its a small team so I the lack of content is understanable but this game has so much potential and I beleive once a full version comes out it will be amazing. It does have a steep learning curve but I feel like the game helps you plus theirs a bunch of tutorials

Also I feel like all the negative reviews about the amount of content in this game should be disregarded. ITS A "EARLY ACCESS" game, atmost getting 10 hours of gameplay is good and I have almost 20 and a lot more to do.

So I just compelted this game and oh boy. Im shocked of how good of a game this was and the events leading up to the ending and boss fight was just mindblowing. Also garnachs lair was scary as ♥♥♥♥
