Haha yeah what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumbass. Typical football fans. I think it's about time we ceased this morbid fascination with the "sports" favoured by braindead jocks and instead cultivated an interest in more intellectual pastimes such as Chess, CS:GO, DOTA, etc. I hope to god (no capital letter - it's not a proper noun as there is no such thing) that I live to see the day when the Chess nerd is held in higher regard than the quarterback on the high school Football team.
Edit: Wow, look at all those downvotes! I suppose I must have struck a nerve :-) It's unfortunate that an intellectual such as myself is subjected to such hostility merely for expressing disdain for America's long-running love-affair with anti-intellectualism. I like the fact that the demographics of Reddit have broadened to include the less educated (in that it provides them an opportunity to better themselves) but there are clearly drawbacks to this as well.
