My playtime is false, due to me playing this without an internet connection. I'm a big fan of the VTM universe and this game looked decent, despite its reviews.

$20 for this game is an absolute joke. It's worth MAYBE $10.

The characters and story itself are good, and so is the art.
The problem lies with the fact that none of your choices have any major effect. There might be a slight change in dialogue, but after beating the game with all three characters, I can say that I didn't feel like my choices mattered at all.
So yeah, if you're a big fan of VTM and you get this as a gift of on a heavily reduced sale, it's worth a play. But not for the price they're asking.

Holy moly, I didn't think it would be better than Night Road, but somehow, IT IS!

This is probably the BEST text based game I've ever played, let alone the best VTM one. The writing is amazing, and although I noticed a few misspellings and grammatical errors here and there, it HARDLY distracts from the overall points. Your choices DO matter, when I was looking at the achievements, most of them involve paths I didn't take and some feature characters I didn't even meet. It's definitely got a ton of replayability. The characters are distinct, memorable, and realistic, each filled with a ton of personality. I found that once I started, I couldn't stop. I did a chapter or two a day so as to have something to look forward to, else I would just steamroll right through this in one sitting, and I REALLY wanted to. The price is incredibly worth it, even if you're only doing one playthrough. It's a very good length, didn't feel too short or too long, although with a story this well-written, it always leaves you wanting more. The ending I got was satisfying, tying up all loose ends that I was left wondering about. Overall, whether you're new to VTM or a hardcore fan, I cannot recommend this game enough.

A good, albeit very short, experience, especially if you are already into the VTM universe. My total playtime is misleading, as there is no "save game" mechanic, I left it running as I ran to the store. This game can easily be completed in around a half-hour.

That said, it seems to be setting itself up for an episodic story, which I would love. For a free game, there's absolutely nothing to complain about with this. It's a fun little adventure.
