I don't normally review games before I finish them, but this is one of the best games I've ever played! There's more variety than I could hope for, and the characters are all so intriguing. Garl really has a special place in my heart, you guys wrote him so well! I hope all my tags didn't bother you all as I played and replayed the demo before launch! XD That, and the #tags for my YouTube streams on Twitter and all.. I wasn't trying to be annoying, I'm just so excited! Been playing an hour or two a day, every day! Trying to stretch out this memory and make it last as long as I can! <3

I really can't say enough good about the game. At first I thought that there maybe might not be enough move variations, but.. I realized that the pacing allows for "mastery" of certain skills required to be able to use the moves we DO have more effectively. Timing is everything! Speaking of timing, the MUSIC is fantastical! I really hope a soundtrack gets released before I buy this game for a second time on Switch during the next sale!

If you're thinking about getting this game, or getting this game for your kid, just do it. It's challenging, but not too challenging and there are accessibility options that can be earned and toggled, one of which comes VERY early on, and iirc is free (of in-game currency, of course! No micro-transactions here at all!). It reminds me of the OG Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger and Golden Sun in all of the best ways! Every now and then, there will be a little nod to a newer game, or a style shift that you can feel the influence of/from. It really is quite charming and is my most recommended game of the past 15 years! Elden Ring is still up there!

I'm so excited to see where this story takes me! Tomorrow I continue!

PS. Congrats on being the most popular game on the eShop!
