worst ui aaaaaaa

I bought this because it was $1 and I wanted the profile backgrounds BUT IT'S SO GOOD?

The game itself has endearing characters and innovative mechanics, but as a port I have to say this version is terrible. The controls are frustrating at best and unplayable at worst (I gave up around one of the earlier stages with very bumpy terrain because navigating my marker around and changing the camera angles was just so clunky, and for whatever reason you can't skip cutscenes...). Pls save your money and buy this game for some other hardware.

I backed this game on Kickstarter, and while I believe they have delivered a solid core product, it feels like it lacks depth, and therefore the replayability that Recettear has. Fun to try, yes, but don't expect to get hundreds of hours out of it.

8.5/10. Engaging, and had good world-building. I like that there was a focus on the relationships between characters, but not so much that it would be categorized as a romance.

Amazing art (some of the best pixel art out there; you can see the 10 years they put into it) but the trite story and repetitive gameplay drags the game down.

6/10. Nothing bad about it and it doesn't suffer from the pacing issues that plague a lot of these games, but feels "just ok" in most aspects.
