The original RE4 was the first Rated M game I played on the gamecube and it was such an amazing game. This remake is very good and keeps a lot of what made the original scary and fun. Definitely recommend!

I love hitman 2. I played it a bunch on my xbox one, picked it up for pc and I have been having a blast playing it again with higher graphical fidelity and frame-rate. :D

--ONE THING I MUST ADVISE HOWEVER--
There are many versions to this game (I think because either Warner Bros or IO wanted to continue the "episodic" nature from the past installment) So you will see the *standard*, *silver* and *gold* editions. Just get GOLD on a steam sale. Don't bother with the other two. You will basically have the whole game if you buy GOLD and not have to worry about all the micro-transactions. :P

Just to start off, I first played this game on the Xbox 360 back when it came out and I just recently got the PC version of it on Steam. Now onward to the review!

Tomb Raider Legend is the first in the trilogy of *new* Tomb Raider games released by Crystal Dynamics. This title was released in 2006 and features a whole new game engine and a brand new control scheme that greatly aids the spirit of its exploration aspect. No longer must the player fanaggle their controller to get Lara into a very-specific position in order to land jumps properly!

The story takes a different approach to the plot by wiping the slate clean of prior history of the TR canon. It starts off with a young Lara and her mom traveling in a plane over what it seems to be Nepal, when something happens to their plane. The plane is malfuncioning and is unable to be operated properly. Both Lara and her mom struggle to decide what to do. They both buckle up in their seats and brace for impact.

It turns out that Lara was just having a flashback when we cut-away to see a now fully grown up Lara scaling a big mountain in Bolivia while talking to her new crew mates Zip and Alister. After this brief scene we finally get a taste of what a next-gen (at the time) TR game would feel like! I currenly like to play using the 360 controller so my opinion on the controls is only going to be based on this particular scheme.

The controls are simple and intuitive. They make playing the game really enjoyable. Everything is how I remember it to be from years ago when I first played it. The "A" button jumps, "B" rolls, "X" is using the grapple hook etc. It won't take anyone long at all to conform to this scheme. The level desgin is really neat especially the England level, the rain effects are really nice and I like navigating the underground labyrinth near the end of it.

Overall my opinion is positive. Tomb Raider Legend is a great game to play and was actually my introduction to the Tomb Raider franchise and I've loved the series ever since. Buy it now!
