80/100 if you are not familiar with Journey to the West, 95/100 if you are. Do yourself a favour and learn about the original story, and you will appreciate this game much more.

Very good soulslike with clean combat mechanics, good customizability, and a streamlined and logical upgrade system. Is a bit lacking in enemy variety.

This is truly one of the greatest games I have ever played.

This has it all in terms of story - heartfelt moments that make you cry, badass moments that make you cheer, and everything in between. It is nothing short of a cinematic experience. Not a perfect game by any means, but if you can look past some archaic movement and combat controls, and a couple questionable plot conveniences, you will find some of the most lovable characters and iconic moments in all of gaming.
