Honestly I bought the game because of its two main characters but after playing the entire game and achieving all the endings, I must say this is a masterpiece. Anyone who doesn't mind the harsh reality of Ancient history and an in-depth story telling. I would not recommend the game for those who are easily disturbed by bad morals, a small sense of gore or literally human trafficking. The Hungry Lamb is not a wholesome game for 90% of the game and if you're searching for something light, this is not it. But if you want to read a well written story and don't mind all that, then this may be for suitable for you.

The game offers two True Endings whilst the others are regular endings. I would suggest that you'd get these True endings to finish the game and to NOT leave it on a regular ending. The difference is way too significant to leave them.

An absolute masterpiece in writing, not the most unique VN out there but it's worth reading for the writing.

One of the most visually appealing and addictive visual novels I have ever witnessed. I would first like to start off by saying, I highly recommend this game for anyone or everyone to play. Noctuary offers a variety of content with in-depth storytelling, an addictive & enjoyable combat system, a flower of "blessing" which offers unique statistics that will help in the combat system. There is so much in this visual novel that it is difficult to argue that this is a Visual Novel to other people.

The music, the voice actors, the sound effects this game has to offer is extraordinary. Endless amounts of soundtracks to listen to, all available to the user upon purchasing the game via DLC. Could use the soundtracks as a way to help do work or whatever you like really. The VAs are amazing and consistently great in all languages, Mandarin, Cantonese and Japanese. Whatever your prefences are, they are all great. I mostly played in Mandarin however since it was the first thing I saw.

The visuals are out of this world, the CGs, the everything Noctuary offers is just simply the best I've seen and it is truly heart-breaking that a game like this doesn't receive enough attention. The characters are not just a slap on PNG! At least not most of it but it is a small touch that I noticed, all characters blink, makes you feel like you're not staring at blocks of word and a picture. Moving away from that, the CGs and videos the game offers are beautiful. It's almost sad that I won't be seeing more after completing the entirety of this game.

In summary, I would recommend the game for its heavy in-depth lore, unique combat system and visuals. Almost everything about this game is a worth a steal. 9.7/10.

If you are looking for a game to play, I will say that this is a game to play.

One of the best, heart-touching visual novels in the market. As per usual for most romance visual novels, this is also an emotional roller-coaster and I do recommend those who are looking to buy the game or at least play the free version to buckle up!

The game does a very good job at story telling throughout the game whilst not giving any hints towards the ending or outcomes. No clichés here! There are multiple choices to select in the game, however, not game altering but it does add to the immersion ever so slightly. The voice actresses are all talented, the music is amazing and if you are willing to purchase the soundtrack DLC, you will receive two extra soundtracks.

My only complaint to the game is that there are no official English subtitles which is a bit unfortunate for people like myself who can only read English. HOWEVER, there is an English Fan translation available in the discussion page. Without it, I would've missed out on this absolute gem of a game. I highly recommend any whose into VNs and romance to pick up on this ASAP!!

The toxic, love and hate relationship between the two is pretty great. Plot is not to everyone's liking however so play at your discretion.

I'd recommend the game for anyone that wants a bit of wholesomeness and a break from competitive or toxic games. I enjoyed almost all aspects of the game and have no complaints. Combat system was straightforward and easy to pick up after a few attempts at most. Raising your relationship status with other characters can be a bit repetitive however it's not a bad experience.

I would highly recommend anyone to play with friends. Can be chaotic but in a good way.
