Hey Sk8er. I know something you can try. You're video card may have limits on the resolution it can display since it shares its memory with system ram. Go to the display.cgf file and set the resolution to 640 by 480, set the preset to 1 for low performance then start the game in dx 9 mode. Keep changing the resolution higher until it crashes again. That will tell you the limit for your resolution. Hope this helps. I'll be available late tonight. cya.
