I was playing this game, as my dad called me to tell that he was ready to pick me up and go out for some dinner. Later he asked, if I'd just woken up from sleep when he called. I answered (a little confused), "No, I was just playing a computer game", realising how much I emotionally got absorbed by this game.

When I bought the game I did know that it was able dig up feelings in me ( - because I literally cried simply from watching the appetiser video). I have never before encountered a game that was capable of doing that to me.

While playing, tears showed up in my eyes multiple times. Afterwards I would be moody - and sound sleepy over the phone. There is no doubt that I was moved by GRIS. I enjoyed playing it a lot and it's, simply put, a beautiful peace of art. But to experience it like I did, I think you have to be able to get into a certain mindset. The sound, music and visuals should get you a long way. But as depressing as it sounds, you might need to be just a little broken-hearted beforehand.

Did I buy this game just to build PC's I couldn't otherwise afford?
-Ehm, yes.

Did I expect a true to real life experince?
-No, but something that came close.

Did I get some challenges while playing in career mode?
-Yes, some of the tasks actually required me to think.

Did I like the graphics?
Yes, but I find cables and tubes to be a little skinny.

Did I build my real PC in the game?
-Yes, why not? All the parts are there!

Did I get what I paid for?
-Absolutely!

If you are a PC-enthusiast or just like big anime titties, this software is a must have! I came from another wallpaper software called Rainmeter. While this allowed you to tinker with your desktop, using small scripts, files and plugins created either by yourself or other users. - Wallpaper Engine just takes desktop customization to a whole new level! You have many more possibilities and the editor makes creating something by yourself much easier. And if you don't fell like creating you own, you can just choose something from the thousands of different wallpapers created by others.
Big thumby pointing upwards from here. :)

This game is something special. A piece of art, or as several other reviews say: A novel.
You are thrown into the place as another person - a different life. In the start you walk through a corridor with pictures of “familiar” faces while settling oneself in the place of Kelsey.
When in Marie’s room you are told a story, put together by memories and excellent voice acting. But you aren’t told about the one main event, effectively creating a build-up to a climax. While exploring the room you get to solve two small puzzles, also making it a little challenging.
In the end you are interrupted by callings from outside the house, again creating this immersive experience of a life that now will continue to move on.
I like the idea of this game being as short as it is without the option to do saves. This also kinda enforce players to reserve time to finish the game, ensuring that there is enough time to enjoy the game more. A short novel/story is also ruined (in my opinion), if you have to stop multiple times on the way through to go look for something else - it’s one cohesive experience.

This is a little fun game! There are plenty of different levels that you can play. You can buy an expansion to get a couple of extras. However it would be have been nice if the game included just a little more levels, because the ones that there is, is pretty quickly completed. However on the other side it doesn't matter to play the same levels again, espacially if you haven't got all the stamps(optained by completing small missions for each level) for it. But when you have completed the same level five to ten times, it starts to get a little boring.

So instead I would go for the version 2 of this game, which does exist now. It has more features, like being able to make your own levels. This extends the time you will be able to have fun in the game. And for the same price, it is just more valuable than this game.

This game is very fun to play. BUT it doesn't feel quite optimised. Even though the graphics aren't amazing(but good), it can sometimes be hard for the GTX 970 to keep up at max-settings.
It's nice that you can start with playing for free, and later buy an upgrade so you can get more space for stored parts and weapons.
So overall I think this is a good game to check out. It's free!
