Good, fast way to get familiar with your new steam deck.

From someone who has never hunted, COTW seems like a good mix of arcade and simulation. There are a wide variety of animals to hunt if you know where to find them. The locations are varied (DLC maps) and can either be bought or played on for free in MP. Some maps have story missions which although weak, can give you something else to do while exploring the map. There is a decent amount of weapons including rifles, shotguns, pistols, and bows so you can choose what works best for your hunting style and animal you are hunting.

The graphics are absolutely gorgeous. Even on my older system, it's hard to imagine other games beating the look/feel of hiking through a foggy mountain top forest and seeing the sun rise over the distant peaks and sunbeams through the trees. For the non-hunters, this game could be a walking/hiking simulator; it's that pretty.

However, the one huge issue (and it's a real critical issue), for every new feature/patch the devs implement, it seems like they introduce 10 new bugs (some of which can be game breaking). I applaud them for always adding new content, but they need to test it before releasing it. If you can live with this though, the game is recommended.
