This game is very neat in term of the UI and graphic details as expected from the developer of endless series. However I am a bit unsure about the culture change between each era, right now it feels like changing clothes. In one era your character looks like a Ancient Chinese commander and then in other era, he looks like a roman commander. I feel like it can improved if the developer would change it by giving the players a base culture to choose in the beginning and then choices of paths to evolve in future eras. Despite of that, I still have some fun with this closed beta. So I am recommending this game.

Before I start, I need you guys to know that I never been into this kind of games before. I tried to play Baldur's gate the first and second (the new ones) but they failed to capture my attention. Pillars of Eternity is a very unique game because it offers a rustic experience of classical games by using the same layout as baldur's. At the same time it also features lots of newer game mechanics such as homebase building mechanics and all of the good RPG companion relation management. I personally love this game. spent around 10 hours into it without even realizing it has been 10 hours (lol). Not even DA:inquistion managed to give me the same feeling.

This is a prequel to Endless Space. The game's battle mechanic is unique. You cannot find it in any other 4X games. The game also take pride in its art direction, which is beautiful. The things to be noted is the fact that the game's world keep changing as you play longer (in a playthrough). The winter in the game (bad season) will get longer and the summer will get shorter. This will drive the player to move faster to victory conditions, keeping the game interesting.

edited after played 600 hours and more. despite of its flaws, EU4 delivers the best semi historical grand stragegy experience. You will not find the same experience in any other games.

The only thing that apparent in sequel of total war rome is that it has better graphic, compared to its predecessor. Aside from that, it lacks lot of things, including features that are included in Total war 2 Shogun (weathers, roads as a structure). To be fair, I am not a fan of its time span per turn which is 1 year. I am more into 4 turns per year. CONCLUSION: This is a good game for those who likes to real time battle (the only thing that is perfect in this game is the battle) simulation game. Buy this when there is a 50-60% deal.

The first documentary movie that I actually like and can link myself to. These professional players are amazing and their personal life are each unique in its own way. After watching this wonderful piece of art, I can see the dawn of a new age. An age where gaming will be more accepted into the culture of the world.
