Even though I've played a lot of Total War games — including the Warhammer series, Three Kingdoms, Attila, Shogun 2, Napoleon, and others. I can't seem to get enough of Empire.

I can spend tons of hours in this game and always enjoy every moment of it.
Huge bonus is the non stop modding community that have always kept the game alive.
I recommend the Pirates Über Alles mod as in my opinion, one of the best mod out there for this game.

Until CA decides to make Empire 2, I'll still enjoy this one.
