Fluid game/gunplay, regular content/event updates, fast matchmaking, great difficulty. There is a perk system that alters stats so you can play how you want. Large collection of weapons that feel and sound great, headshots also give a satisfying crunch.

Now I usually don't care about graphics, I'm all about gameplay, but Killing Floor 2 developers certainly deserve props in this area too. Look up the MEAT system and their use of nVidia Flex. So much carnage both during and after the onslaughts of Zeds. Maps are also finely detailed and varied.

Bought the game last year, just upgraded to the deluxe version just because developers deserve the money. All content updates are free, you also gets lots of skins/cosmetics for free just by playing.
