TLDR - One of the best games I ever played. I sunk 220 hours into my first playthrough alone, I did every single quest, gig, collectible and bought every car. It was so good and captivating I will be doing another playthrough soon. It is amazing and you won't regret it if you like RPGS or the Cyberpunk Genre. Its a must have. I have never walked away from a game in silence to think about what I just witnessed and experienced in a game like this. Get this game next sale. 100% worth it.

Now, for the long version -

This is amongst the greatest games I have ever had the absolute pleasure to play. I initially was hyped for this game back when I saw it on E3 2018 and 2019. I was so hyped to see the Cyberpunk Genre and synthwave aesthetics go mainstream. Unfortunately like many I was disheartened by the game's awful release in 2020, and the myriad of controversies around then.

I picked up the game in 2021 at a very deep discount, I think around the Winter 2021 sale it was roughly ~$16ish USD. I figured it would get a patch or two and be done for, and I was sad to say that.

I am SO GLAD I was wrong. DEAD WRONG, and so glad I waited the years for them to work on and improve the game.

CDPR stuck with this game for the long run, fixed many of the issues that had plagued the game since launch, and helped it become the incredible experience it is today.

Most of the games bugs are fixed, with the remaining ones being benign or kinda funny at times. After Phantom Liberty dropped with 2.0 in 2023, they fixed the combat and gear system and made the game work so much better and smoother. They even patched the game as recently as TODAY, including many options for vehicle customization, the in game photo mode, and cosmetic choices for the player.

I finally started it on January 5th of this year, and I remember my first play session I was so blown away that I played the game until 11am the next morning. It was THAT GOOD. I have not been this immersed or truly invested in a game in a LONG time.

The world of Cyberpunk is grim, dark, horrific, and worst of all, a potential future for our own world. (minus some of the more crazy almost magical stuff going on.) And it is so well fleshed out. Mike Pondsmith, creator of Cyberpunk 2013, 2020, RED and of course, 2077 did such an incredible job in making this a real, living and fleshed out world. There is truly nothing like it out there. This level of detail is almost unrivaled anywhere else in the industry.

Technically speaking the game is quite impressive, and the aforementioned updates have helped much in terms of optimization and incorporating emerging technology such as upscaling, dlss, framegen and more with the rtx 40 and 50 series cards. I am running a rig with mostly 2020-2021 parts, many of which intended for this games launch, and even with RTX ON I maintained a solid 90-110 FPS. (pro tip if you have a 30+ series card use ray-traced local shadows and it makes your game look incredible and snags only like 10-20 fps max off, leave the rest of the ray tracing settings off).

If you told me this game came out last year, or even this year, I would believe you.

The audio work in this game is fantastic. The sound track is incredible and it has ALWAYS been on of this games strongest points, and the expansion Phantom Liberty comes with even more bangers. Aside from that, the general soundscape of the game is immersive and completely checks out for a big city. As someone who has lived around and been in big U.S cities for a large chunk of my life, I can attest Cyberpunk almost nails the vibe.

The Gameplay is fun and engaging with quite a variety of styles of play. You can be a stealthy netrunner, stealth-killing your enemies and carefully hacking everything to stack the deck in your favor before the fight ever begins, or alternatively you can be a sandevistan boosting, katana wielding samurai and chop your way through the enemies, or go for a in-your-face shotgun and machine gun build. You can even flip the formula on its head and be a hacker who is full on into strength and uses their fists or a 12 gauge to solve your problems. Its just a great and fun system overall, and by the end of your journey, your version of V will be a unstoppable force.

The games MAIN questline is actually quite short and it was definitely in response to the Witcher 3's being very long. But it is incredibly impactful, and it works for the game because a very large chunk of the side gigs, quests and content actually provides different choices and dialogue options on the main questline missions, as well as providing MUCH context to the world and character motivations. Theres a ton of easter eggs to other franchises, and lots of fun nods to other media. Of course, if you loved Cyberpunk Edgerunners, theres plenty of content from that show in the game as well. This game truly captivated me in a way almost no other has.

Phantom Liberty - The expansion is absolutely worth it and it is worth getting. Its release came with so many amazing changes that practically fixed the game when it released and brought it back into what it should've been. The story is a incredible spy thriller that really made me think with each ending, and I really wish I could play it again completely blind, as while I was doing it I had NO IDEA how it would go at any point. The quests included in it go above and beyond anything in the base game, though the base game is still of course excellent. Cyberpunk2077 + Phantom Liberty is the definitive way to play, and content from the base game is affected by some quests in Phantom Liberty.

Overall, Cyberpunk 2077 + Phantom Liberty was ABSOLUTELY worth the wait, and I am so glad I waited the 4+ years to play it. It is where it should have been and it is now what I wanted and was hoping for when I first saw it at E3 2018 all those years ago.

This is one of the ONLY games I will give a genuine 10/10. I reccommend it to anyone who loves RPGS, story driven-experiences, or even just dystopian media The game is a great display of humanity, at its worst, and its best in a cruel, awful world.

My advice? turn the volume up, get immersed, read the side content and quest logs, and really soak in the world of Night City.

Do yourself a favor and get this game next sale. It is that good. Play it on any difficulty you like and enjoy the journey.

I do not usually leave reviews however this game is so fantastic I am making an exception.

I am someone who doesn't have much time to game anymore, and when this came out I literally could not put it down.

This game is exceedingly special. The best mixture of Starship Troopers, Halo ODST, Warhammer 40k and more. Over the top hilarious satire, insanely good game play that does not get old even after hours. I Have put 100 hours into this game in a very short period of time, it released on Feb 8 and it is Feb 25th as of this review. I am a huge Deep Rock, Vermintide, Darktide fan, with hundreds of hours in those games respectively. This somehow tops them all. Those games set a high bar, and this surpasses it, even in its launch state without all of the coming features.

The Devs of this game, Arrowhead Studios, are great. The pricing, monetization model, rapid community responses, and how their care about fixing input and bugs demonstrates they deserve the success and support of players. As a fan of Helldivers 1, my friends and I only expected this game to hit 80k players max. Meanwhile it has hit 450k on steam alone, and even more on PS5. These devs are awesome and their attention to detail and care is insane. Staged Reloads, Environmental effects on armor, hell you can even make snowballs in the snow, and snow that has been tread on by your allies you move even faster through!

Graphically beautiful, Awesome soundtrack, and engaging (and addicting) gameplay.
The differences between the currently 2 factions, the Automatons and Terminids are amazing. (there will likely be the 3rd faction from the first game, the Illuminate added down the line) Fighting the bugs is NOTHING like fighting the Bots. Fighting the Bugs is being a member of the Mobile Infantry fighting the Arachnids, or a Imperial Guardsmen fighting hordes of Tyranids. Fighting the Automatons is fighting the Terminators or Necrons, you face an actual army that has you outnumbered, and outgunned. Running from the bugs and dropping napalm works, but against the Automatons, you can expect to get gunned down or obliterated by enemy ordnance unless you're taking cover. Excellent enemy design, via visuals, sound, and even the absolutely bangin' soundtracks! Hell even the Bile Titan has its own theme and its awesome and frantic!

This game has brought together all of my friends, recent, and even people I have not done anything with in 8 years. This game is an amazing unifying experience you MUST get if you like co-op shooters.

Prove to yourself you have the strength, and courage to be Free. Join the Helldivers!

This game is incredible. Who knew the premise of your main character having a chainsaw leg and quick swapping weapons was a match made in heaven??? I have no idea why I didn't play it earlier. If you like high speed Nu-Boomer shooters, like Doom Eternal, Ultrakill, Boltgun, DUSK, and others, you HAVE to play this. This game is amazing and deserves all of the love and praise it can get. Great soundtrack and visuals, plus fast and fun gameplay. The sheer amount of 80's references to classic films and games is great and adds to the game in a hilarious yet awesome way. It is made by a one man dev who has somehow combined Cyberpunk with a Boomer shooter with eldritch elements and cosmic body horror. Absolute Slam Dunk of a game. Buy this on sale or full price ASAP.

They fixed the game.

40k Darktide is Warhammer Vermintide 2 in the grimdark future of the 41st millennium. Do you like slaying hordes of enemies? Do you like guns? Do you want a ridiculous over the top gothic aesthetic and killer soundtrack? Look no further. Now That Fatshark actually fixed the game with this huge class rework, I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Early Access Review
This is THE VR gun game. a awesome VR experience, and easily my favorite VR game. It is a authentic gun sim with several fun gamemodes and simulations. For any gun lovers, or anyone who wants a fun gun simulation, this is the game for you.

On seperate note, this game's primary dev, Anton is a great developer and truly cares about his game. He will ensure this game succeeds and is perfect before it launches. This absolute legend literally got back to me, and helped me with some issues I had with the game from 3 - 4am, even going to the lengths of emailing me files to help resolve the issue. Under him, this game will succeed.

I love this game, it is a perfect blend of fantasy and the Total War formula. It is a direct improvement over it's predecessor in every single way imaginable. The races are varied and unique, everything from the art, the music and gameplay is well thought out and excellent. I truly recommend this game for anyone who likes RTS games, Total war games, or Warhammer. This is my absolute favorite game on steam. I have more hours in it than other game on or off steam, and more than any other RTS or Total war game. This game is endlessly replayable thanks to the staggering amount of content and dedicated modding community. The game has a good community willing to help new players learn how to play the game, and is generally fun to be around. It is easily one of the best Total War games, and arguably the best one. Although the game is by no means perfect, thanks to bugs, glitches, some mechanics that could have been implemented better, etc, The game offers many different playstyles. Do you want a traditional melee focused army? Then you have plenty of options, do you want overwhelming numbers and monsters? play greenskins, do you want heavy metal and the forces of evil? Warriors of chaos. Do you want DINOSAURS THAT RIDE DINOSAURS??? Lizardmen. Perhaps you like ranged gameplay? I know I do, and this game has you covered! Want cannons and handgunners with a versatile unit roster? The Empire has you covered, want a army of elite ranged units with long range? The Wood elves and High Elves have you covered. Want Machine guns, Sniper rifles, Flamethrowers, Laser cannons, DOOMWHEELS(hamster wheels that shoot lasers and are covered in blades) and Nuclear weapons? Look no further than the Skaven! This game hosts so many playstyles, and amazingly, they're all viable! I can fully advocate for this game. In my book, the base game is easily a 8.5/10, and with mods? 10/10. If you have any interest in Warhammer, Total War, or even just strategy games, definitely pick this game up on sale, because it can be quite pricey for the game and its DLCs.

My Favorite game of all time, I may not have many hours on PC but I have at least 2,500 - 3,000 hours on Xbox360.
This game is excellent. What really gets me is the replayability and charm of the game. It may be hard to believe, but I have legitimately beaten this game 24 times. 3 times with each character, level 72 OP 8. This is a amazing game with few flaws. The gameplay is fun and energetic, pretty well balanced. Many different playstyles all tailorable to how the player likes to play. The expansions fit well into the base game and provides endless enjoyment, with Diablo - esque randomly generated guns and equipment the combonations are endless, when they say theres 87 bajillion guns, they really arn't kidding.
So in summary, Fun gameplay, Charming/Humorous dialogue, Many different ways to play, and Many, Many, MANY GUNS.
