I'm only 6 hours in, but so far, this game is almost everything I would want out of a VR game. Tons of exploration, good gunplay, immersive atmosphere, and enough content to just lose yourself for hours exploring the world and tinkering with your base and guns. I have some complaints - namely that the game still needs some optimization (although it's already come a LONG way), the enemies need some balancing (they all seem to be either way too easy or way too hard!), and there's a little indie-vr-dev jank around the edges. But overall, already easily one of my top 10 VR games to date.

Would love to see an optional invasion-based PvP and Co-Op modes added if they ever make a sequel.

Games like this are what are going to drive people to adopt VR. The story is engaging, the gameplay is awesome, and the world is very immersive. It's a bit short at 11 hours, but right now, it's the second-best VR game I've played so far. If you've got a headset, you need to add this one to your library.

Easily one of my top 10 VR titles, and so far the only game I've enjoyed enough to 100% all the achievements. The concept is awesome, the visual style is slick, the gameplay works great, and you completely feel like an action hero as you shoot your way through a soundtrack that absolutely slaps. It's also a great full-body workout, forcing you to move your whole body to constantly dodge incoming fire and smack any badguys standing in your way. The devs are still supporting it even a year after release, even adding an entire story mode, and while I don't want to come across as entitled, I think the only negative I could list about this game is that I want them to keep adding more and do it more frequently. As it stands, the content is a little light and you can complete everything on the highest difficulties in 4-8 hours, but damn, what a fun 4-8 hours it's gonna be.

PA:TLS is a decent horror title, and that's about the best thing you can say about it. It has all the basic requirements of a video game - a plot, characters, an objective - but just barely. You're dropped in-media-res in the middle of the woods, and you must explore a house that is simultaneously experiencing a demonic haunting along with a domestic violence incident. There's some more story to it than that, told mostly through context clues you piece together yourself, but really, that's about it.

For better or worse, it's mostly a jumpscare simulator, but it does this job adequately, and it occasionally throws in some deeper moments of terror as well. There were definitely a few very memorable moments, and while nothing in this game is going to leave you with any nightmares, you will at least be well entertained.

The game could have done with slightly more handholding, as large chunks of the game were spent searching for which door in the massive sprawling house just unlocked itself, and the controls were clunky and a bit buggy, but not bad enough that it impeded the game too much. It's also remarkably short for a $30 title - I managed to beat it within 90 minutes, and that was after getting lost multiple times. Someone better than me could probably speedrun it in a quarter of that time.

Overall, I would recommend this game if you've already exhausted some of the better VR horror titles, but I have to say "no" on the Steam review page, as it is absolutely not worth the current price. At $30, you can buy multiple better titles and enjoy them for much longer. If you can catch it on sale for $20 or below, I say it's worth it, but otherwise, it's a pass.

I have a phobia of dolls, but I also love to be scared, so, I thought this game would be a blast - it wasn't. Yes, this game got the best terror reaction out of me that any game ever had before, but it was also a glitchy, buggy, broken mess. I wasn't able to play for longer than 13 minutes before experiencing 3 game-breaking bugs that teleported me out of the level and required me to force-close the game multiple times. I don't care how good the premise is or how low the price tag is, it's still unplayable.

Cute, fun, only takes about 20 minutes to beat if you're smart (so it took me an hour), and it's free. There really isn't a good reason to NOT play it.

Doesn't even have support for 16:10 monitors. Seriously. Check google if you don't believe me.

An awesome game that almost ranks with The Walking Dead in terms of quality. If you're a fan of the series, this is a must buy, and even if you're not, it's still very enjoyable. The only complaint I have is the price - I do not know if the $25 covers all 5 seasons. If it does not, then $25 is far too much for a scant 2.5 hour episode, and you should wait until it goes on sale. However, if it does, it's a hell of a steal.
