One of the first games i ever played was the original diablo. Halls of torment is a homage to the hack and slash dungeon crawler of old with the arcade rogue lite current design of games like vampire survivors. It can be a hard game to play but the balance is oh so right to keep you either on your toes or on the verge of death. Both are an absolutely exhilarating game to play.

The depth of the story in this game mixed with the incredible voice acting and well thought out story paths make for an absolutely incredible play. I love a well written and executed story driven narrative with attention to detail and Detroit delivers. It plays with your emotions and encourages you to build a real connection to the characters and their struggles. I shed more than a few tears during my play through in situations i didn't expect. Out of the 400 games I've played in my library, Detroit is hand down the greatest game of all time.

Been waiting for quite awhile to play this one and finally got to it in my backlog. Huge fan of the portal series and as a community led release, this is absolutely fantastic. Excellent level design and the storyline is actually quite good. Worth a try 10/10.
