To this day, I consider Wolfenstein 3D to be one of the best FPS games. I never got to play the Blake Stone games back then, so I was rather excited to give it a go. The simplest way to decide if you will like it is this: Do you love Wolfenstein 3D? Then, this is for you.

Pretty much everything you could expect from Wolfy with some flourish and more story. It is still fun and that's all that matters.

You wake up feeling lousy in the stinking bathroom of some dive you can't quite place. The face you see in the mirror is alien and terrifying. No matter how many times you splash the stale tap water on your face, you can't wake up from this dream. You have no idea who you are and how you came to be alone with some stiff decorating his desk with his cold blood. There are sirens in the distance, but not for long. Fine mess you got yourself in...

Really good shoot 'em up so far. Tried playing on a Mac Track Pad the first go (bad idea), so I am gonna try hooking up a SNES controller to it next.

This is a freaking awesome classic game. I'm playing it and listening to old episodes of Coast to Coast for maximum 90's. Bio Menace is a great action/platformer.

WOW! What an amazing follow-up to You Have to Win the Game! I took the leap and bought the IndieBox version of this. It came in a SNES box, with a SNES controller, a cloth map, 3D glasses, guide book, stickers, and a USB card that looks like a SNES cart. (This may be the best thing I've ever received in the mail.) All that is just bells and whistles though. If you cut your teeth on platformers in the 80's, then here is your love letter.

This platformer is exploration based and has "Metroid-style" elements in that you have to find items to advance and fully explore. There is no combat, it is just skill based platforming and it does that very well. The CRT filter is great, as is the chip tune soundtrack. It took me about 8 hours for my first playthrough and I have more to unlock and areas to complete still.

Minor Key Games is adding a ghost run mode for speed runs and a leader board in a patch that is about to hit. If you want to just have FUN some evening playing a great game that makes you happy, this is it.

Pretentious and insane. Violent and full of black humor. Whatever Hotline Miami 2 is, one thing is certain: It is fun. Acting as a VHS tape fever dream of a prequel and sequel, Wrong Number sometimes bites off more than it can chew when it comes to its abundant characters and how they fit into the scheme of things.

The VHS framing device and its large cast somehow manage to make this feel more like a "traditional game", whereas the first was more of a mesmerizing, violent dream that was more art than game at points. The decison to no longer focus on Jacket may alienate a small group of fans. This game is more about inhabiting this awful worlds head space.

The sound track is what you would hope for in a sequel. It helps to mesmerize the player into its bleak and apocalyptic world, only offering brief moments of emotional reprieve. With an upcomming level editor, I can't wait to see what the fans do.

Very much worth a buy!

My favorite of the MacVenture series (though Shadowgate is very close) The game is still spooky after all these years and is worth a play through. It gave me nightmares and I watch a horror movie a day on average and that never happens.
