I've purchased this game on every device I own, originally starting on Xbox back in 2018, I've dumped hundred of dollars into it, hundreds of hours, been there for its peaks, been here for its lows, but I'll never truly grasp the idea of how a company like BHVR can feel so entitled and lie to it's community dozens of times, and not once trust in it's community yet ask us every year for the Labor of Love award for steam awards.

The amount of new bugs that get added every major patch is astonishing, bugs that weren't even in the PTB randomly exists now. This year (2025 when I made this) has been nothing but bugs and lies, said this is meant to be a QoL year, an "operation health" for my siege players time. Well just like Operation Health for Siege, they didn't do any "healing" for the game, they fixed little to no bugs and in fact somehow made the game worse in it's attempt to fix the game. Vaults don't work for survivors but will work for killers, tunneling is still rampant as they haven't added anything, killers will randomly have no animations, objects spawning in generators causing them to be unusable, random physics on cosmetics that have never overreacted before now happen, jim beam from TWD patch, etc, etc.

This year of DBD has somehow set a new low bar, the previous record being Twins Patch. I keep playing and watching in hopes that BHVR will fix this game, but until a new rival comes in and dies again like TCSM, or dare I say a possible Friday the 13th game, we will never see BHVR care. I actually hope that the devs that do care for this game, find work elsewhere as I feel like the devs who put their soul into this game are genuinely hoping that the game they work on gets liked everytime, but unfortunately, whether its management, or time crunch, the project they work on always falls flat.
