This game is awesome in so many ways:

- Great, consistent story. It feels like a playable movie at times (in a good way), but the cinematic aspect does not overshadow gameplay. It's pretty much a perfect balance.

- Superb graphics. And I'm not just talking textures, particles, lighting, and shadows. The facial expressions Lara and others give while talking are hands down amazing. The way Lara's hair blows in the wind, or just jiggles ever so slightly as she talks blows me away. It's almost to the point where I can forget that these characters are nothing more than CGI. Futhermore, the way snow gives way at your feet and your legs leave dents, it's remarkable!

- Fast paced gameplay with respect to exploration, combat, and puzzles. It's really wonderfully paced all around.

- The amount of content is spot on. There is plenty to do: side quests, resource gathering, crafting, hidden tomb exploration, etc. Also, to expand a bit on tomb exploration, unlike Tomb Raider 2013, there are A) more tombs, and B) the rewards are MUCH more lucrative; so much so that it is worth finding and exploring every tomb you can.
