I played every single fromsoftware games, and almost every souls likes (this is not a soulslike imo, the combat is very different, but oh boy, when it clicks, this is peek gaming)
many games tried to replicate this style of sword combat, no one succeded for a reason.
At first, i think everyone plays sekiro as a "soulslike" but they quickly realise the dodge button doesnt works the same.
Parry is everything, and the timing of if is just perfect.
The speed of each strikes executed beyond perfection, you can see the visual indicators very easely.
The bosses IS soulslike level good, theres no doubt some of Sekiro's bosses is at From Software's peek designs.
Some tips for beginners:
Dont mash R1
Dont try to dodge attacks, parry them
You can see by the enemys weapon will spark when your "turn" is over, and time for parrying again

Give it a try, its a GOTY for a reason, dont hesitate buying it, hesitation is defeat.

Dark Souls 3 was my first Souls game ever.
I cant really write a typical review,everyone should play the series at least once.I always played only Multiplayer games,and this game alone made me love single players.
Definietly 11/10
