Shadow of the Erdtree
I've been waiting impatiently for this dlc for a few months and when I finally started downloading it and saw the bar fill up, I was incredibly happy. I turned on the game and immediately started the game.

BOSS FIGHTS
Most of the bosses were extremely challenging, their design, the soundtrack that played with them was just as I would expect, perfect. The only thing that bothered me with the bosses in Realm of Shadow were the occasional odd hitboxes, especially with Golden Hippopotamus and Commander Gaius . The bosses were exactly as difficult as I had hoped, they rebuilt the wall I wanted to overcome. I was a little disappointed with the number of cutscenes, but that's probably just me.

ENVIRONMENT
The world was exactly how I imagined it would be, bleak and empty, but also full of new enemies and dungeons. I still remember reading that the world was supposed to be the same size as Limgrave, thankfully that wasn't true, the world is the size of like 3 Limgrave stacked on top of each other, I was pleasantly surprised by that.

WEAPONS
The new weapon types are really fun and different in some ways, for example my favourite being "Dane's Footwork", which was really fun to fight with. Overall, I have nothing to add to the weapons.

SUMMARY
I was very surprised by this dlc, for the price of 40 euros it was really worth it, I wouldn't be mad if it wasn't a dlc but a new game for 60 euros. I went through every nook and cranny I could. I spent about 45 hours in it alone and then another 20 with a friend. Now I'm going to play it again with another friend and I don't regret it at all.

It was a truly unique experience.
