What can I say about this game that hasn't been said already? Deep Rock Galactic presents itself in a setting akin to other cooperative games (Left 4 Dead, for instance), where 4 players work together to overcome hordes of enemies and achieve a common objective. However, there exists a great chemistry between the premise of cooperative play and the class system provided by the game, with the characterization of each individual dwarf being the cherry on top. The personality of each miner, the charm of their interactions, the thrill present during each mission, the variety of areas and modifiers, the many different objectives... Those are all more than enough reasons to rise the tag to 30 bucks.

On top of that, however, lies another quality that inspired great awe in me: the community. Contrary to most other online communities (even in the real of cooperative play), this one is filled with enthusiastic, friendly people who stick together and help out new players despite the issues they may encounter. Nowadays, every time I join a team, I feel compelled to yell that sentence that has engraved itself in my mind, the battle cry that makes zero sense to outsiders but conveys the passion of this game so well: "Rock and stone!".

And so, to whoever may read this, I highly, HIGHLY encourage you to pick up this game and play. This piece of media screams "love" through all its pores. It's a work of passion, dedication and technical knowledge that has germinated an outstanding community around it, filled with positivity and wholesomeness. If you have a hard time at work or after studying and need something to both get some adrenaline pumping, but also provide you with great satisfaction, give this game a go. It's complex, energetic, varied, filled with content and abrasively warm.
