Just played this for our 600 follower stream! Legit the only game that has made me scream for my life. Freaking amazing execution especially considering the lone dev. 10/10

I don't know why I like this game so much. It's a mess and the controls need to be re-memorized from level to level, but my roomie and I love playing it co-op and just chilling.

Tl;dr Cute in-progress game that is slightly over-priced for where it is for release. Not buggy so far, and enjoyable. I'd say to support them.

10/26 update- Loving the addition of the pointers for finding people in the final round. Definitely helps with the size of the arena and overall level up pacing seems to be improved. The first additions to the shop are a great style and I do like the option to choose between two art styles. Survival mode addition is as good as I hoped. I'll be back after a few more updates to give my thoughts. n.n

Launch Day- I picked this game up today after its launch. So far it's cute and I love the whales in the background. Right now it has two fish available, an herbivore with cute stars, and a carnivore that looks a bit like an angler fish. I've been playing for a bit and have gotten a few levels. It scratches a childhood itch for the games where you start as a little fish and grow so you can eat bigger and bigger things. The multiplayer aspect is nice. Very clean style and playable as is thought the price tag is a bit high for the current level of development. Shark.io is the same thing for free without a time limit and less polish. I'm curious to see where this goes and wish these first-time devs the best of luck!

-Pros
+ You can jump out of the water and get some good air.
+ The style is clean and simple. I like it. It's very cute.
+ Whales in the distance are gorgeous and I like the attention to detail in the environment while keeping it uncluttered.
+ The chip-tune sounds are very cute.
+ Approriate for all age groups.
+ Runs very smoothly with what is currently there.

Cons-
- I can't tell what to expect yet. There is a lot still under construction.
- The round time limit seems just a bit too short for how big the area is. Can be hard to find enough food to level and locate your enemies.

Hot tip: You can break larger food into smaller pieces for more points and food. Grow strong new fishes!

Tl;dr: Cute game, but there are higher quality idle-clickers you can get free.

I got this game recently as a small idle game to play in the background while I am at work and writing. It's cute and after three hours I did unlock all of the content. I'm sure it could be done faster if I want interested in the clicker aspect of the game, but I am neither in a hurry nor am I a major fan of clickers. I am going to update my review with the total playtime based on my style for getting 100% of the steam achievements for this game. I did get this on sale for under a dollar, so my enjoyment is based on that rate and not the typical cost of this game which is still quite low. That said, I wasn't willing to pay over a dollar on a clicker/idle game with a grand total of twenty things that can be built and four upgrades.

It's cute, and I certainly am enjoying it, but there are just...many more options that are free to play with more to do and a better array of goals to aim for. After you hit the goal of "unlock everything" the next goal is really to just continue for 100 of each item, namely crops, bushes, trees, and animals, and then to expand your farm with no clear goal in sight. There's just a lack of a feeling of progression and I'm not even 25% of the way through some of those larger achievements.

Pros-

+ My Cabbages! Cabbage is the top tier crop. Be the cabbage farmer.
+ The art style is charming. It is pleasing to look at and the globular designs are appealing to a wide audience.
+ The game plays well as either a clicker or an idle game. If I wanted to fidget at it I definitely could. Likewise, I don't seem to be missing out by playing it idle.
+ Small cute enemies that you can choose whether or not to deal with actively. Early on, you can get a couple of things to deal with all of the little pest type enemies such as scarecrows and guard dogs.
+ Low to no stress game. It's a nice little thing to have on the side that I don't need to worry about.
+ The soundtrack is cute and relaxing. It adds to the feel of this being a farming idle-clicker, and I haven't gotten irritated with it at this point.
+ Wide appeal for different age-groups. This is a game that is good for a toddler or a grandparent and anyone in between.
+ Multi-platform. This game is available for pc and android at the time of writing this so it can be a nice background item or a cute time-killer in a waiting room.
+ Light system requirements. This game isn't likely to bog anyone's system down which personally appeals to me as it will be a background idler during work for me.
+ No micro-transactions. Once you buy the game you have it. It doesn't try to ply you for getting a "premium currency" or offer boosters to speed things up for cash. I appreciate the heck out of that.
+ Scaling seems smooth. I'm not having a bad time as I'm progressing. I'm to level 50 as I'm writing this point and I haven't really had to wait for an inordinate amount of time.

Cons-
- Novelty dissipates quickly. By three hours or less, I have seen all that the game has to offer. The only thing I can do at this point is expanding my farm or work towards more coin multipliers and offline earning time.
- Offline earnings limited. I'm personally also just not motivated by the game continuing while I'm offline if I buy it one hour at a time. Either give offline earning or don't. It's tedious to purchase one hour at a time.
- There are much better idle and clicker games available for free. When I say better I'm referring largely to continuity and motivation to continue coming back to it.
- Limited variety. On one hand, this helps keep the game light and cute, but if build options are going to dry up by level 20 it might be cool to see a couple more things, not just star upgrades, get thrown in even every 10-20 levels just to give small goals to work towards as you progress.

When it comes down to it I'm still not convinced that this game is totally worth it. I am enjoying it enough for it to be worth at least the sale price to me, but I know that there are plenty of other games in the same vein I could play for free that are better games all-around. I enjoy supporting developers, so I don't feel bad about spending money on this at all. I hope that they are able to take this game and move forward into a more successful one that is more fully realized. I know that they are working on Plantera 2, and I will be checking it out along with some of VaragtP's other titles to get a better sense of what they change as they go. If you want to support a dev for a low cost this is a nice little game that has effort put into it, but if you're looking for something more finished look elsewhere.
