It's alright if you get it on sale - it's a mixture between Exit the Gungeon (without the constant random guns,) and Binding of Isaac. The art style is pretty generic and there's no variety in the appearance of the rooms, most of the guns are useless since their "actives" which require crystals to use will end up being obtained via items or they fire too slow/too spread out. The items don't really do anything outlandish, most of them being references to movies, comics, games, etc. and fall into the category of increasing your RoF/damage/velocity/range, making you fly, or giving you infinite items. Some of the bosses were trivially easy for me and just involve standing in the middle of the room like and moving back and forth like Remington/Colt, or run-stopping like Hal. This isn't a roguelike you'll be sinking tens or hundreds of hours into - you'll probably finish your experience with the game 13-20 hours in.
