While rough around the edges (the UI could use some polish, the main menu screen is a little too simplistic, and the lack of the ability to force a save is missed) BRC is a very worthy spiritual successor to the cult classic Jet Set (Jet Grind) Radio series. If you played JSRF in the past this will be a walk down memory lane and a great nostalgia trip. In spite of the aforementioned issues the game runs and plays smooth, the controls are easy to learn and not quite what I'd call difficult to master, but still have a satisfying skill ceiling that I feel I have yet to reach. Even only a short way through with a fraction of the content unlocked I'm thoroughly enjoying the experience. Definitely recommended. If you're a fan of the JSR franchise and the game-play and art style of those games, your gonna love BRC.
