Played this game for so long. I gotta say, it still remains to be my favorite games ever.
I'd call it a pretty random, first person shooter, a lot of times the game feels so silly with all the hats and cosmetics I feel like I'm playing a different game than advertised, but in a good way, hah.

I found it was pretty nice that I was able to disable blood and gibs with a few commands; didn't have to wear those ugly-looking pyro goggles just to make the game T-rated. Not many people mind it's M rated, but I just enjoyed the fact you could disable it anyway, and weren't forced to have to see all the blood, honestly personal preference.

Now, I've had my share of hours with this game, and there's some of pros and cons with it, I think one of the pros is the system of balance for characters is pretty good, even with so many classes it seems most of the time each character holds their own against each class sometimes. I think skill really matters usually when playing, as the more skilled players have a higher chance at really winning the game with a good team. :p Like, I've been dominated by a Scout more than 10 times before, because he was just THAT good, seriously.

I also love the people in this game that are called 'friendlies', those people who goof off and dance and do nothing for hours for fun-- that's one great thing I adore about the community, at least you find most of them in 2fort or community servers. I've met a lot of people who are driven crazy by them, but honestly it's nice that a game for first person shooting has random, funny moments with people who just wanna chill and not 'play the game'. I find it very amusing.

I think the worst con up to date right now though, is probably the community and bot issue. The community a lot of times has always been kind of toxic on this game imo, and considering I'm a girl playing this game, I would always get a lot of unnecessary harassment when I'd use my mic, like, come on people, guys aren't the only ones who play this game. :/
I also had a lot of threats, as well as random attacks for just killing people; I know this is an M rated game, but people really need to calm themselves even online, I'm just playing the game after all.
And it is a little bit frustrating that valve still hasn't fixed this bot issue happening right now, they even updated the game twice and did not fix the bot issue flooding the servers. It's really hard to play when bots are messing up the main chat and killing people unfairly. Sigh.
Aimbot and hackers tend to be occasional issues, but they're not too bad and usually get kicked pretty fast.

I'd say the bugs are pretty fine too, usually there's just funny bugs that happen, and no one really minds them and mainly just laugh about them. (I gotta say, the halloween bug map glitch where you can put a sentry in the wall at spawn, is NOT funny though, good grief)

But other than some cons, I've honestly grown to appreciate the game, and have met a lot of good people and made a lot of friends. I'd say the community servers are a lot of fun to play on, always give me some good laughs on silly servers; this game still remains one of the most interesting games I always find myself coming back to, even when I've played more than one thousand hours, like-- that's some dedication, I might need a therapist perhaps...

Even the lore and robot fighting matches are so intriguing and fun to me, I quite enjoyed all the comics, and it's nice to see the interesting big updates they would come out with-- except a big update hasn't happened in forever now, cough. But, still, the games still going pretty strong with a fairly big community even after so many years.

Basically, Team Fortress 2 is a that one of a kind, hat simulator, first person shooter that brings constant laughter and frustration to your day.

That's the most accurate description I could come up with.
