For many years, this game was a lot of fun. Somewhere along the way, the developers lost a grasp on their community. The new chapters are usually underwhelming over the past year, and each new set of perks only bring up new issues while past perks remain problematic. BHVR's new process in creating patches seems to be more based on analytics and very little based on community feedback, which leaves them to be out of touch and misguided. This becomes a huge issue when aside from gameplay concerns, a security issue is being ignored and denied. Simply playing the game can leave your IP vulnerable to DDoS attacks, which has been an issue for years and has seemingly gotten worse as of late. The core of the game is fun, and the crossovers in horror characters is unique and exciting, but due to the developers negligence, I cannot recommend spending any money on this game or even playing it on a free weekend.
