Waited months to be able to get this and the game does not disappoint. Larian truly delivers on every front. Immersive, gorgeous, and absolutely hypnotizing. I'm eager to lose myself even further into the game. As a long time D&D player who struggled to get into the original Baldur's Gate games (I know they're phenomenal, but the gameplay isn't my cup of tea), I'm very impressed with how well Larian upgraded the format. 5E rules in combination with a turn based combat system that's straight from the tabletop is sweet bless relief. I'll update this once I beat the game, but I have little doubt the review will be anything less than "this game is by far one of the best RPGs of all time".

Update 1: I am at the conclusion of my first playthrough. Wrapping up a few side quests I want to complete, but I can say wholeheartedly this is my favorite game. I have been fully invested in every element of this game and planning multiple replays in various play styles to try and soak up as much of it as I can. The story is a masterpiece and it feels as if every decision has actual gravity and weight to them. Cannot wait for the finale.

Town of Salem is one of the most original and interesting games I've played in years. It takes a few rounds to learn the curve of it, and you'll have to play quite a few rounds to try out every role, but it is definitely worth it. I played for free originally on the browser, but the game was so impressive I payed the $5 to support the creators. They are constantly working on updating the game and making it better, and the community is really great. Sure, you run into a few people who aren't so savvy with the game, are aren't so respectable, but most are willing to help anyone new with the game, as long as you don't give away too much about your role! Overall, the game is really fun, especially with friends, as you can play with up to 14 other friends in your own lobby, and see just how well of liar they or you can be!
