The last time I was ever absolutely engrossed, addicted, and immersed to a game was when Skyrim was released. This is that feeling ten-fold. I'd say this game cured my depression, but not even this breathtaking game can fix that. I have played for about 60 hours and I still haven't even finished exploring some beginning areas, nor unlocked the rest of the map. This game offers so much content that it is hard to put down. My only real issue with this game is the random stutters and frame drops as well as a somewhat clunky UI, but that's FromSoftware for you.

This game is pretty darn addicting. Yes, it is difficult at first and it's a lot to juggle. Shooting, reloading, and dodging to the tempo can be confusing for those who are not familiar with the concept of it. However, the guns are fun as well as some builds. Some are more OP than others and with the right build, you can zone out and succeed (auto-aim, flying boots, and mini gun while flying around a room), but even builds that make the game easier are still satisfying and fun. I would like to attribute that to the soundtrack of this game, but I do wish that the soundtracks between levels felt a little more different and distinct, or even a different song on each dungeon generation. I would love to see a tutorial and or an in-game guide for the different abilities and items you encounter as the descriptions are a little unhelpful.
