It's a very cool way to get used to a new keyboard, or just type in general

Game Spoilers below

- there is no relation between the game mechanics and the story
The game says that there are groups performing several different actions during the stages, but nothing actually shows for you; it's up to your imagination

- all the levels are basically the same
The only thing that changes is the number of suits used at the same time. There's no difficulty changes, game overs or twists on the gameplay - is the same solitaire game from beginning to the end

- the game ends up abruptly
During the game are some 'teasers' saying that something will happen when you reach out level 15.
Well, it does: the credits roll, meaning that the game is over. No final boss, choices, nothing: just credits

And the videos are kinda lame.

Hades is the best depiction of Greek mythology since Saint Seiya.

Based on the character select screen, I thought that there were more characters/classes to be unlocked after completing the game.

I completed a run with each one of the characters and nothing else showed up on the select screen. There are the Relics that are unlocked after finishing a run, but i don't feel compelled to complete another 5 or 6 1-hour runs just for that.

The gameplay is a good twist to Peggle mechanics, but the lack of "replay factor" and almost zero reward makes it a very short game, maybe worth buying on a sale with >50% of discount.

Lots of years in development and the game still feels incomplete; it tries to be several different things (platform/exploration, rpg) and fails at all. Never backing a game on KS again.

Odallus is not a bad game by itself. The difficulty is reasonable (not absurd as some people say), and it might require some backtrack - playing some stages 2-3 times to make sure you got all the secrets.
It's a 5-6 hour indie game based on old school NES Castlevanias, and the story is OK, nothing exceptional.

However, my experience playing this game was nothing but AWFUL. I had several issues trying to run the game, which included:
1) Game Launcher freezing on startup, not letting me change any graphical settings;
which lead to:
2) Game running with sound only, no graphics

After reading some forums and steam, I did some workarounds and was able to launch the game, but then other issues happen:

3) If you have a Wireless x360 joystick and the battery dies during gameplay, it's over. You need to use keyboard to run to the end of stage/nearest save point, quit the game and launch it again because the game loses the ability to reconnect the joystick;
4) At random times, pausing and choosing "same and return to map" causes the game to freeze, losing all progress made during the stage.

In the end, I spent almost the same time trying to correct the game issues than playing the game itself, which is far from ideal.

TL;DR - Game is ok but TERRIBLE user experience
