Personally, was never a big fan of Poe 1. So why try the second one? Because the devs said, it's going to play much different, different than any other ARPG.
And they were right; it's slower, more strategic, with a touch of souls games. Key is, just a touch of souls games, the mobs are not hard, but you rather learn how the boss moves as they can one-shot you.

The construct of the game is robust and, for me, more enjoyable than Poe 1.
You can make any build on your own, provided you know what you are going for in the end.
Of course, for an EA game, there are several QoL missing.

- Maps are huge with a lot of backtracking, and you are slow. You should teleport between checkpoints at least.
- Every Class should get its own dodge roll. The Ranger can keep the current roll but, for example, the sorceress should teleport/blink.
- Loot is VERY dubious. I open blue and yellow chests, and there is nothing in it or 3 gold. Also, boss drops are dubious. All that trouble and learning for trash loot.
- Respec costs is way too high. It's EA. People should try anything and give feedback. That's one big point of EA, to give feedback, including how the tree works with skills.

Other than that, the graphics, animations, sound, and performance are top. It is a very strong start, which may lead to a very bright future for PoE 2.

If you expect PoE 1 just upgraded, you will be disappointed. I always tried to get into PoE 1, but it just didn't click. Now it does, fully.

When you are about to be delisted but you are just a chill car game with good vibes and a broad variety of cars.

If you love the old Battlefield, get it on sale for the Portal Mode.
Otherwise, it's trash.

The only ARPG until now that was able to recreate the feeling I had when playing Diablo II as a child.

A love letter not only to the fans but to Akira Toriyama`s work overall.

They successfully transported Budokai Tenkaichi (Sparking in Japan) into the new era of gaming. It's just as hard and sweaty as the original games, with beautiful graphics and NO MICROTRANSACTIONS.

Every Character is unlockable through playing and spending Zen you also earn plenty from playing.
You can also boost weak characters with item abilitys, with the option to turn off the use of such items.
In the end, the users skill will make or break the fight.

Highly recommended 10/10
but casuals should be warned, this game will take practise, even in the story mode, but there you can lower the difficulty.

I've raided the Emerald Grove and killed everyone just to have ♥♥♥ with Minthara and it was absolutely worth it.

Underrated game in 2023 which still looks good and plays good. People hating on it just because.

It is not the best Mass Effect but it is definitely not a bad one. The only big difference is the open world concept. So if you are not keen to that idea, it just may be not for you. I enjoyed finding random stuff and enjoying the scenery.
Overall I enjoyed the story, dialogues and gameplay. I may not be paying 39.99€ for it but rather 29.99€. This game is frequently on sale.
