Amazing world, classic dark souls combat, and lots to explore. PC performance varies but only major problems I've had is large 1-2 second stutters that happen at *any* time

5 years ago I could never recommend this game to the person I hated most. Issues of lag, awful performance, load times over 30 minutes, lack of content, unfair mechanics, etc. However, currently as the game stands I would recommend this game to any person who loves a sandbox game with a unique taming mechanic. This game has become the biggest addiction I've had in many years and I can't see myself stopping any time soon. With hours and hours and HOURS of content, places to explore, exciting new tames, and a fun tribe experience this game gets the first positive review I've ever written. Every aforementioned problem has been fixed and improved on immensely to where during the game I have not experienced a single bug besides slight server graphical glitches. E.G. bodies flying when killed, which happens maybe every 1/1000 killed. The only possible con I could think of is every 15 minutes on official servers there is a world save, and this causes about 20 seconds of hard lag. Luckily everyone experiences this but it's the only major annoyance I've ever had with the game. Overall, Ark has become one of the most enjoyable games I've played to date and I highly recommend it. Compared to what it used to be, this game deserves MASSIVE praise for the developers taking their time to fix and improve their product.

Truly amazing game, reminds me a lot of ori and the blind forest. At this point in the review I haven't finished the game, just merely first impressions.

Pros:
- Amazing music
- Amazing visuals
- Cool and semi difficult fights
- Metroidvania style of re-exploring for more stuff
- Several diverse areas

Cons:
- Areas are seemingly short
- Background noise and SFX aren't two separate categories
- (Semi-con) Possible short playtime; Don't know how long the game is, but I did the first 2 areas in 1 hour and explored everything.
- Not much else this far

7/10 so far, maybe even more if they're a lot more areas and the enemies start really pressuring me.

Amazingly well polished game. Each map is inventive, uses new obstacles, enemies and the soundtrack has a great feeling and drive to it. With three different playable characters, the story in each playthrough is changed and enhanced through new abilities and story elements. 10/10 for me.

I cant even begin to describe this game. Amazing graphics for 2012, very nice combat system, keeps getting more interesting, and so on. The voice acting is funny because of how bad it is, and all voiced by one person at that, but its definetly worth the investment. I find it to be my favorite assassin game, stomping assassins creed for me. Excellent game and when it first came out i wanted a second game immediatly, but that was basically satisfied by the DLCs.
