It does what it needs to well enough, but I feel this is more of a rage-game than anything. Playing this game, if played forward wouldn't make sense..seeing as the character unnecesssarily jumps over certain coins (mostly at the beginning of the level. Why WOULD a normal player jump over them?) I get that it was supposed to make it more difficult for the player, but I do wish I had my money back. Not really worth the half-hour playtime. Meh.

Out of all the games I've played on Steam, I've enjoyed watching the slow but sure progress being made on Loadout. Sure, it's a little buggy in Jackhammer (CTF),the bot AI needs a ton of work to pass off as even being close to how real players act, and the matchmaking system should be worked to be more fair on who's on what team.. but it's been a game I always come back to and never get bored of. I've supported this game since its launch on Steam and have definitely enjoyed the ride.

Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons is a beautiful game in which you control two brothers that are on a journey to gather something that will cure an illness that their father had fallen to. Although the controls take time to get used to, it's fairly intuitive and I disagree that a controller is necessary to play this game. It's short and sweet with an emotional story to boot. Don't wait for a sale, it's worth the $15 price tag.

A nice surprise for the price. Although Nihilumbra is a simple platformer that takes approximately two hours to complete on normal mode, it has great visuals and a fairly decent story. It only had me scratching my head while trying to figure out only two or three puzzles with the colors. As far as I'm concerned, most games that you can control the elements is a go for me, but this one really shines in my book.
