Really good roguelike! Visuals are amazing, some of the best pixel art backgrounds I've seen in a game, the gameplay loop isn't as repetitive as you'd think, and feels very fluid. The new game+ options in this game once you complete a full run are amazing and make you want to come back and play more so you can keep on doing runs, great game!

Great game! I've played a lot of different roguelikes (Hades/Gungeon/Astral Ascent/FTL/Dead Cells/Isaac/Neophyte/One Step from Eden) and this one is definitely on my list of favorites! I was hesitant to buy it because looking at the gameplay it did seem a bit repetitive and samey but after taking the leap of purchasing it I do not regret it at all. Has a great gameplay mechanic of having your health be your currency and you gain max HP/recover lost hp by doing a Hollow Knight-esque recovery thing, so it becomes a challenge where you try to get hit as little as possible so you have more max health/currency. Very great game and apparently coming out with an expansive update that is going to add more. Only 41 hours in so far and haven't gotten bored of it so far.

Don't be misled by the hours I have, I bought this game when it came to the Epic Game Store and I already have 20 hours into it and have 30 runs attempted, I wanted to buy it on steam so I could delete Epic Games from my computer, the save files transfers over which is pretty neat and also I got to gift a free copy of Pyre to a friend. Hades is honestly one of the best roguelikes I've played and I've played a lot of them. Something it does incredibly well is something that all Super Giant Games do well which is how it immerses you into its environment. The voice acting really ties into the whole narrative that you're the son of Hades trying to escape and the visuals do it a great justice as well. It controls really well and with doing things like dash cancelling the endlag of your attacks and constantly improving your runs, like in any roguelike, it's honestly one of the best. Also it's not even done yet and more content will continue to be added which is pretty crazy, go play it.

This game is awesome, I've put a lot of heart and soul into it. Amazing platform fighter, It might be a little hard to get into as the skill floor is a little higher than others, like Smash Ultimate, but once you learn and understand how to move and how certain mechanics work, you'll have an amazing time. Just take the time to learn certain things like getting used to the lack of grabs, shields, and ledges, and also become comfortable with hitfalling, recovery, and DI, all things that are taught in the well crafted tutorial =)

This game is an amazing Roguelike, I've played a lot of the genre and this one is one of my favorites. In a way it's comparable to Spelunky in the way that you traverse a cave and get to a door to go to the next level, but you gain equipment to help you, and it's class based. After every room if you beat the boss you sit at a campfire to restore health and you can level up and put a point towards either class specific or general attributes. Oh also it has something that other great roguelikes don't have which is 4 player coop ONLINE. And the online works really well too, please play this game

Pretty great game, it'll take a while to really learn how to be good, dodge everything, learn the enemies, but it gets really fun and it pays off as you progress.
